Re: Respawn is not listening to feedback unless we play them for the game. The End

I understand the OPs frustration as well as understand your input.

However, I will state that there seems to be a priority of quantity over quality when it comes to apex, mainly regarding the general effort put into monetization over bug fixes and quality of life improvements. I also understand the argument that respawn isn't a relatively massive team, so they might not have the man power or the time to put into these issues. The current pandemic also affects things like recruiting and the ability to work in the normal workspace. So I understand that as well.

None of those facts excuse the current situation (as i see it) that Respawn seems to be tackling a project way beyond their manpower, and as a direct effect the community of players become frustrated and impatient. Leading to a massive/substantial increase of players every new season(or new content drop/LTM) and then a steady decline leading to a drop off of players in between and during the end of the then current season.

My main gripe is in regards to the current ecosystem of ranked play, every season brings in new bugs that either crash the game leading to matchmaking penalties or irreversibly stunt the experience for part or remainder of the game( i.e. bangalores ultimate cancelling audio for all players in the vicinity or horizons ultimate causing a constant hum in players ears for the remainder of their game affecting the ability to react to footsteps and other important factors.)

A good portion of the community feel as if the penalty system has done more damage than good, and at least in their eyes, respawn either refuses to address the issue or respond at all.

Players are excited and happy every new season(at least at the beginning) and then with the discovery of new game breaking bugs and issues players become frustrated and disengaged with the product during the midterm and leading to the end of the season. This has been a recurring issue for a very long time in my own opinion.
