Well with the camera placement it could just stay as first person just if you choose to have your camera inverted (so when your upside down thats what you see) you can or you could have it so the camera view rotates so you always looking the right way up.

I think that's a pretty neat idea to leave imprints of his fingers and toes in there to help his team climb to mate a bit better escapes
