Re: SBMM is ridiculous/matching randoms against pre-made squads, playerbase fallen?

@VoKks9 Im pretty much having the same issues but have seen players with 250 season 3 wins 130 season 3 wins 178 season 3 wins etc and thats on 1 character.... I only have 43 or 44 season 3 wins combined with all my legends lmfao then they all have 4k damage badges, 20 kill badges, some other rare badges i dont even know what they are offhand like the ones with the axes or swords thats a red badge I dont remember (not the blue hammers) anyways also like everyone has a apex predator win as kill leader badge (I have 2 of those... but those are the only decent badges I have decides one for sniping over 300m) im just not able to play after the xmas update either im with 2 nubs and we all die, or Im with a pro and they have to literally carry me and my other teammate in a banner card, i had one match where i tried but didnt really do much then my teamates died in the last ring and just because I didnt win in the final 3 my teamates were toxic af ( i was knocked aswell used gold knockdown shield then people shot at me so I used mirage cloak and just ran somewhere to use a phoenix) of course the squad that shot me was looking for me and not much I can do 1 vs 3 with players way beyond my skill ._. Then my teammate was like ‘’good job you did nothing this round’’ and talking trash like all TTV wannabes do

    @FaIIenAngeI777  It's horrible, I have never seen more ridiculous and unfair champion squads come up on my screen since the update. I see them and i just feel like leaving, obviously a pre-made squad, their badges, stats e.t.c means no one is going to contest them. It's kinda just like whats the point lol? and you always get the toxic players end game,i always get the wannabe types too xD, the  type who  just have finished watching Dizzy on YouTube and now they can apparently solo squad. But remember, if our teammates run off and die trying to 1v3, WE are the noobs right 😉

    @VoKks9So true they run off and die then blame you as the problem when its their playstyle thats the issue, i loved SBMM for the xmas update but after the update idk what happened its either because I won as the champion like 15+ times in the new event mode and farmed the new event mode for 3 days before I went back to pubs to do the 20k damage for the L Star, The badge is 63/75 and my player level is now 175 or 174... the new event mode gives insane xp if you havn’t noticed, anyways i went back to pubs and now the games unreal and I can’t do anything without being laserred even if I attack first they do some crazy af 180 mid air spin and im down. Its really frustrating and being with randoms dosnt make it any easier

    @FaIIenAngeI777 Yeah that's a thing! the xp is massive in the winter express game mode, i went from level 107 to 151 in one evening. It's actually kind of too much xp if i'm honest...As for playing regular matches now i am finding myself throwing games, going for silly plays and generally just trolling the enemy because i know that i just don't have a chance if i try to seriously play for the win. I have around 150 hours in the game, so not much and i did have a negative k.d but in my last 50 hours i have gone from 0.79 to 1.12 so i would expect SBMM to put me in matches against better players. BUT, just because i have a positive k.d it is no where near godly and i would never consider myself a high enough tier player to be going against the types of pre-made squads i have been put against. I'm all for going against tougher opponents as long as they are also solo que players who also have been matched with teammates that i have...Not pre-made cracked champion squads.

    @VoKks9i go for silly plays and troll all the time in casual, but with SBMM its just seems impossible to do any play even if you actually try you get laserred in that half a second you took a peek shot.... My K/D is so bad lol I guess i could still play but just not care anymore just always do silly plays so then if I die it dosnt matter but I may end up finishing the badge and getting the L Star and Trying Fortnite/Destiny 2 or some other game awhile Apex just is impossible now the only games I seem to survive is when Im solo and thats just because I can dip and heal if I need too and not leave any teammates to die also I swear you always get that one teammate that is so trash but literally wants to chase down every team in the server then they instantly die and your stuck trying to save them and then they blame you and call you trash like tf your the one that charged right in lmao that playstyle does not go with SBMM tbh it was bad enough before SBMM...

    SBMM - we skill-based match YOUR team and then randomly match it with another teams

    lol

    ...but it seems like it has either been adjusted or switched off, i’ve been having a lot easier lobbies

    @MIH4YL0WICH Are you playing in a pre-made squad? i can imagine pre mades are having all the fun destroying people. I seem to be getting the exact same matchmaking as before regards to MY team, yet when i see the champion squad i just think ''wow their game is going to be fun'' people are even typing in game to me things like ''GG fun game'' as soon as they see the champ squad and it's funny and sad at the same time xD

    I keep hearing this and I'm definitely getting destroyed in a premade, but Apex has never offered up a yes so I'm skeptical. I wonder if I'm just worse in a squad.

    Meanwhile in solo, I'm 1.25 kdr my best season, yet I'm in lobbies with 30,000 kills (yeah I'll take your 3k kill lobby) and 4k damage 20k badges. There is no incentive to play well because whenever I get a good game in I'm in sweaty lobbies for multiple games.
