Re: South African Apex Legends Servers. EA/Respawn please Read!

We want south african serves or even a serve that we can play on 80ms ping this apex game lies to u when u load it it states 160ms ping wen u enter the game its 200ms, EA doesnt care about anything, ...

    I just got off playing apex and I'm so frustrated!!! The ping is insane, it's constantly fluctuating from 200-300ping at times it even goes to 340 this is just unbearable ea/Respawn, people here in South Africa aswell as our neibouring countries spend money on this game and just want to have fun. I'm thinking of quiting apex because it's just a waste of time now and sure other people thing the same as @b1scu17 says he/she is deleting the game it doesn't look like ea/Respawn is taking an interest at installing a sever around here, I'm so passionate about this game because I have REALLY taken a liking to it though it's very sad that we are treated like this, the reason I'm a but angry is because I've personally spent money on this game though we get insane ping and lag in retern its just frustrating ea/Respawn, I just hope ea/Respawn will give us severs soon, but until then I'm done with Apex,ea/Respawn, yourll are going to lose customers and fans over this and @b1scu17 is proof of this aswell as many others, please give is one sever atleast......i really love this game and wish to keep doing so please ea/Respawn, make our gaming experience one to remember........................

Me & my son play Apex every single day for hours on end, from South Africa. Our other squad mates is in Namibia. We experience the latency issue on every single match, once you see a player with more than 1000 kills you know that not only does that player have skills, but he / she also takes a hell of a lot of bullets to just break the shield, never mind knocking him / her down...no matter your skill, you should take damage as the rest of us. The reason is that they have a very low ping, in other words our hits don't register as fast as their hits due to their very low ping rates, due to their local servers, it's just unfair. Also when we jump as a squad, and the random is from over seas, they always hit the ground a good 2 seconds or more faster than we do, and we all go straight down, the same as him / her. We've won several championships, so we are good enough, but at times we will get players that even after emptying a full spitfire extended mag on them, hitting them the whole time, they still manage to turn and drop you with three shots, instantly shredding the purple armor and purple helmet, is that fair? The hits just don't register or just don't register as fast as theirs, resulting in the server deducting health more quickly from me, even though I have shot and hit first on my side, ultimately resulting in me being downed. It's sad that I don't see ANY response from EA nor Respawn on the matter of local SA servers, I love the game, I really do, but it's not a level playing field at the moment.

The team is committed to making server improvements going forward, however we don't have any specific details to share around that or any information on whether there are intentions for improvements in your region.     @EA_Blueberry any news on servers for south africa yet ? i mean players are getting better by the day and our skill is capped due to lag reload using shield batterys switching guns even just standing in the lobby and that flag behind u looks like it wants to break off due to lag just give us a server that can give us around 120 ping or 140 max we are on 200+ ping atm the game is not fun with 200+ ping and its funny i am a fornite player aswell and they dont have south african servers so we have to play on london servers but the ping is 159 for me why is it 201 on apex ?

      I'm afraid there aren't any updates we can share around additional servers right now. Hopefully it happens though and at some point we have servers across the entire globe with even more players joining us in Kings Canyon. 🙂

        It would be awesome if we could get our own servers here in SA, there is a petition with almost 15000 signatures on already, so you can see there is a large community for apex here.

    Any feedback regarding South African Regional Servers? Why are there servers for Battlefield and other games but not for Apex?

    The AWS servers have officially opened in Cape Town South Africa, the could servers will open within a week, does that bring us any close to having South African servers? @EA_Blueberry

    Rainbow Six Siege was able to launch successfully in ZA with azure servers I don't see why south africa can't also get servers. Warzone does incredibly well here and we always have games. The ping really does put people off the game and if we had servers you will see a number of people return. I do know that south africans love skins and a lot do buy the battle pass and skin packs.
