@IDPlayerIvan Very much would love this as well. It was fun to use in the mobile version.
However, I don't think it would ever be added as the main game is easier to play on. What I mean, is that players would be able to just use enough of the abilities to cause the servers to crash and create other issues.
On top of that, Respawn really doesn't like players getting out of bounds. Having no cooldown would mean that players could find more ways to get out of bounds and do so quicker.
One out of bounds required teammates just to clip down below part of the map, which you would then use Valkyrie's jetpack to navigate more out of bounds. No cooldown would mean that doing things like this would be easier and once you do get out, there's nothing stopping you from flying all over the place.
Things Respawn did to prevent out of bounds:
- Added more barriers, primarily when Loba got added
- Made some abilities disappear when switching legends, this was at first the Wraith portal, Shiela, Rampart's walls, gas traps, and anything that could be used to get out of bounds like Revenant's death totem. This later included all legend's abilities.
- Switching legends killed you and then respawned you where you were when the switch happened, this was to stop the out of bounds and to fix getting stuck on parts of the map. A most recent change made it to where you now reset when switching characters, as players would quickly switch their legend. This switch allowed for you to keep doing things like flying in the air as Valkyrie, which when you got out of bounds, it was the closest thing you had to no cooldown. The reset not only changes your default position where you had switched, but also forces you into 3rd person for a few moments before going back into 1st person. During this time, you are completely unable to move or use abilities.
- When you did get out of bounds, there was many areas edited to become instant death zones
Honestly wish we were allowed to just do anything we want in the firing range, (besides cheating), as we're not affecting anyone's gameplay, we're not ruining the game, and it seems like harmless fun. Yet the devs have a reason for keeping us in bounds, and I don't have a single clue as to why.
