@chiefthunderball all your arguments are really bad
1. "Mastiffs has more low damage" OF COURSE it was supposed to be a common shotgun, PK damage and capabilities were legendary tier, 165 top damage for one shot is not balanced, no damage drop at distance is not balance, no ads and hipfire differences is not balance you are just mad because they got rid of shotguns easy mode.

2. The no reg issue is a general problem, isn't the mastiff's fault, the game right now is in a bad place where an insane amount of shots on any weapon aren't registered.

3. "I have to ads to do more damage" dude... seriously on any fps game that's the point...
The good aim is rewarded with more precision and of course more damage, ads reduce the bullet dispersion, and sure is harder to aim while ads, that's high risk high reward, PK was all about low risk high reward, hipfiring with pk was a joke, most people just run and hipfire everyone without taking any risk landing insane amount of damage.
If you can't understand that basic information i can't do more for you.

  • @audiofilomx My points are valid. Shotguns are a hipfire close range weapon that doesn't need ads to focus fire and hit targets. It's a spread of projectiles meant to be hip fired. Now forcing me to ADS to do max damage at a face to face range gets rid of any movements I can make to avoid damage and outplays.

    Not sure if you know this but the Mastiff needs to be ads to do max damage. The ok had a more tightens spread so you had to land shots to kill. The Mastiff is a wide spread making it way more inconsistent than the PK ever was. That's my problem. The consistency. I can be face to face landing shots but since it's such a wide spread I do 13 instead of high damage.

    The Mastiff still does high damage but you have to be in someone's face to do it and that's if you get lucky landing the full wide spread. If you can't understand that basic info I can't do more for you

    @chiefthunderball The main problem with PK is that lands over 110 damage on bodyshots, 165 on headshot(all pellets) had 6 rounds (nerf to 5), bullet dispersion almost non existant, no damage drop at distance, no differences between ads and hipfire, choke giving sniper capabilities, no movement speed penalty while ads, only counter was another Pk or a Mastiff.

    Even Aceu wasn't happy with PK being so Powerful.
    The Devs love the gun, that's why they vaulted instead of nerfing it so hard, is an iconic weapon that represents the game for sure, but vaulting the PK was a smart move, was a Healthy switch, the game became a shotgun boring game, pk was the most used weapon on ranked, on tournaments and in every single casual match.
