@BLOODGRAVY Something WAS introduced. Its called "Ranked".

Even if you are not trying to or care rank up, these lobbies have penalties for players who quit and people to play better as teams.

....unless of course they're Plat IV

    @CocoaHyena Thanks for the post. I realize this mode exists and choose not to play it because of how the gameplay is. Too many people just hide til the end and then you're left with a tiny circle of luck. Not for me! Also the 'non-ranked' mode DOES exist and that's what I play. Just because it's not ranked shouldn't mean it should be totally allowed to quit whenever you want.

    Although when you first start as a low rank it is fun til you get to the 'try hard' level lol

    @BLOODGRAVY I agree that at least you shouldn't be able to quit before you're crated.

    On the other hand, how many people just drop solo or do whatever they want or don't help you fight or any number of things where when you get knocked, your teammate(s) are nowhere in sight, and so you mind as well be able to just quit instead of having to watch your teammates go do whatever except help you or recover your banner. And these are the reasons you're allowed to quit in Pubs.

    Really the best solution is obviously to squad up. If you don't have friends online, its really easy to get one together. Yes, there's LFG stuff. But the BEST way I've found is really simple and no one does it.

    First off, DON'T be in a private chat party instead of in the game chat.

    And two, USE YOUR MIC. So often, the whole quad will have mics in random ques but no one talks. But every time I get into a lobby and theres someone cool who uses their mic, we end up running it back and collecting a 3rd along the way.

    Be in the game chat. Be the first one to talk. Communicate before the drop what you are going to do, want to do, your playstyle, whatever info that is important to you. Drop hot, drop away, whatever. It'll only take a couple games to find others who will Communicate with you and merge playstyles and make the game more fun. Not to mention win WAY more pubs games, cuz like you said, everyone quits. There are usually very few full squads in the endgame, usually just a bunch single man squads.

    And if you don't do the things I mentioned above, if you don't communicate, mic up, or chat, how will you ever expect teammates to care enough not to quit out?

    Would you rather play with teammates who WANT to stick around, or play with ones who are FORCED to stick around to avoid penalties?

    I have to admit that it's pretty rare nowadays that I see someone just go off by themselves. I think because duo's was introduced that has helped a lot with that. I do recall in the past that being a more frequent occurrence. I kid you not every instance where it happens to me the team is like a grenade throw away from me every time. I get your reasoning with being allowed to quit but again it's just literally every game gets tilting as hell.

    I totally agree with your squad up recommendation but at times I just wanna hop on, not use a mic and just play the game. A huge part I enjoy this game is because you can literally ping everything you intend to do without using a mic. 

    About not following your guidelines so team mates won't quit I think is a bit ridiculous but I get it, it's a game and most people just wanna play so as soon as they go down they don't wanna wait for ever. But at the same time there has to be some sort of fluency. 

    If I have to have a mic for someone to play a game I think it's a bit silly but I totally understand what you're trying to say.
