@Schaapje1987Did you even read the post? He is talking about expired banner cards not mobile respawn beacons... this is honestly a great idea but at the same time I don’t see it working out 90% of the time because most randoms would just leave as soon as they are knocked or their card expired
@671Battlemage@TheApexLegendNub If the banner is lost because you didn't pick it up in time and with his idea you would be able to "activate" it again, thus allowing for a respawn with beacons or standard beacon.
As he said it himself, sometimes you simply aren't able to get it because players are still there. It's risk vs. reward. But now you can just run away, wait for time out and buy it back. That's just utterly ridiculous, and it beat one of the purposes in-game.
@Schaapje1987I'm not sure what "purpose" you think this feature idea is ruining.
I did address why the "perma-death" aspect of the game exists in my opinion if that's what u are getting at.
And I also explained how to implement it into the game in the last part of the post to avoid the "just hide and buy them back strat"
150mat-250mat is not a small amount so the living teammates would have to move between different parts of the map to get the amount to actually do it unless they already had set amount in their pocket.
It will also make use of the materials that people pick up too many materials on the days when the weapon upgrades in the Rep. aren't their favorite.
