The grind is real for Weapon Mastery.
However we did not have it before and I had fun playing the game and will continue to do so. The badges will come when they do, I do not really care about them one way or another as it does not affect game play if you have them or not.
As Obi-Wan would say "These are not the Badges you are looking for"

I see your Star Wars reference and I raise you one Treasure of the Sierra Madre: "I don't have to show you any stinking badges." - @Asmodeus566 why make it if none of it means anything tho, you can just play pubs by yourself and rat to final zone and get more xp than you get in 4 or 5 games of mixtape, its so cheesy idk how they call this progression when all it is time played rewards
