Un-skilled players tend to play "not aggressively- as more skilled players are used to." I was referring to lower level players, sorry. But yeah, it seems like you caught one of those unlucky scenarios I'm all too familiar with. Where all you need is just a little help- just a little! But sometimes they can't deliver... Although you gotta admit, sometimes there are some sad moments where even level 500 (or the One-hit-Wonder players with 5,000 kills with One Legend) make some nasty mistakes. And I'm not talking about missing a few shots- I mean bad tactical decisions.

That instance you relayed is a sad one indeed. I remember one time, I revived a teammate during a firefight and an enemy spotted us just as they were revived back up. But instead of combining two guns vs one... they run away (To heal) and get shot in the back where they could've just killed the fellow who was awfully low on health. Sad moments...

@MoNosDirtyGaming Some days are just those days for players though. I was getting sluggish for like a whole week and was almost thinking, "I just don't got it anymore...". I mean, it's like flipping a two-sided coin; There's always a chance for it to land every time on only one side. But... I could be wrong, perhaps there are some kinks in the system that could be worked out?

Ahh "passive-aggressive" yeah that probably fits it good. Although it helps to deliberately be a little slow sometimes! Trust me, even walking (strafing) instead of sprinting can be so much more useful during a shootout or before an engagement. It's a lot quieter. Sometimes, I'll poke some at one enemy, take cover- but not stay there, I'll strafe (quietly walk) to another end. Many times I'll hear a player way before I see 'em. Except for Octane, I'll hear him but he's so fast he's already there...

Everyone needs to troll around, just make accounts and troll every single game you run into than report players for flaming you, stop caring about carrying report everyone loot for 10 minutes feed enemy with purple armor, jump from maps in ranked do every single opposite to what you are doing now, do not spend money invest cash into other games

Sounds like you are in the completely wrong lobby!

Maybe you stop makeing one smurf after the other?

If you open smurf account you WILL 100% play with lower players!

@MoNosDirtyGaming  Aahh now that's kinda silly... I usually see one or two I think, per-game. If you don't mind me asking; What Level and Rank are you? And do you play in pre-made teams and if so, how often? Also, what's the usual agenda in your average match? Do you make Top 3 very often? Or typically Top 7-15? And Kills, are there many game with, say, 7-10 kills? Or is it more like 1-5?

I ask because- for me personally: Despite having a lot of success- and for me, personally, I describe success as winning matches or getting Top 3. Even if I only get a single kill. But ya see, I'll switch it up- only a few games; And snag a big killstreak (7-12) and, if you'd trust me, it's not necessarily skill  but just tactics or whatever you could call it. 

     What I'm getting at is: Maybe I'm tricking the system? I don't know what is used to "analyze" or "grade" a players' individual "skill", but I don't suffer any radical matches.

They're typically fair, In my opinion. Maybe I'm just one of the lucky ones...?

@StarMystroLevel 656, rank 500. I don't really play in pre-mades I mostly play solo. I play for kills, playing for wins is boring unless its ranked. I push every single gunfight. I average around 7-18 kills per game lol.

I think it's absolutely good and fair that you play against predators if you are this good!

Also keep in mind that your teammates are at the same lobby, so you wont get any noobs in your team!

If there was no SBMM you could get much better OR much worse teammates...

@MoNosDirtyGaming Ahh lordy it's happened!!! It's like I was infected with this deadly disease...! 7-8 Predators dropping from the skies... there wasn't anything we could do too! We had awsome Ring position, and they were sandwiched between TWO teams- yet they still win!? Had to be a pre-made with so much concentrated fire...

It's not every game but, it's so brutal when it comes about. Like it would be okay if it were only one or two teams that were "insane with anger" but there's so many of em in One match that; If one dies, another just rises.

My playstyle usually consists of taking advantage of the terrain/ring or surprise-knockdowns, but I can't compete in a fair "gridiron" shootout with players who're Waaay better than me.

Who cares what I DO? I play for fun, which is for kills, I could care less about wins. I could also care less about if you play for wins. I prefer not to hide like a rat.

It wouldn't work because you're level 199, and in bronze 2 with almost 696 kills in total. You are the typical player who camps and is slow with everything, pinging, looting, shooting, movement, aiming, need I go on? Right then. 

FYI If we were matched together I'd be carrying you, just like the rest of these useless teammates. 

Maybe because everyone has to know by now that there’s no way to make SBMM for any Battle Royal game?

Ive said this before but you have to base sbmm on wins,  And there are just too many different ways to rank up.  You might not get top 10 much but kill lots of people.  I might kill less people but place top 5 regularly.  Another person might just be supporting like a monster, get nearly no kills, and make his team get champion a lot.

You might be really good at camping a zone until you are forced to move.  I might be great at breaking camps.  Someone else could be mobile always. Another person might just want to fight with their drop loot for a while.  Another person might be an excellent looter. You may want to push the center.  I might ride the field. Etc etc etc.

If you are playing solo and you are good, you have to adapt.  And if you are really good, you’ll have to carry a lot because, well, you are better than most people.

i would start looking at it as a compliment to your skill at the game.

So you are level 656 rank 500 and the skill based matchmaking paired you with a level 8 and a level 12 did I get that right?
And you play normal play? Not ranked....

Wow, I mean what does that say about your skilllevel?
There must be a completely low value in your stats, that triggers this.
Look at aour stats and tell me one or two value you are extremely unhappy with.
I am really interrested now!

Only other explanation is the others are smurf acounts and have extremly high skill values, but why do you have to carry them then?
So since they were bad players I assume their stats were bad, too.
But some values must be the same! Else you wont get into the same lobby!
MAybe we find this values!

Having a high k/d ratio itself doesn’t mean your skill is necessarily higher than someone with a lower k/d but who places maybe higher, so he advances at the same rate as you tho.

Yes that one guy is an idiot. But again, there are many ways to win and why sbmm will never really work for this kind of game.
