After watching countless hours of "pros" and non-pro streamers, I have to conclude that something funny is going on with recoil in this game.

Mouse input reduce recoil, so even by moving mouse left or right, gun will have 0 vertical recoil.
High rankers know that, so they aim/shoot in specific way which eliminates the recoil.
- @teziu9rmhl9j If you watch the clip, there was no "aim smoothing" or side to side movement.
