Recon legends overall feedback
We all know bloodhound is the best received recon legend, based on his played rate. He's abilities is useful in a fast paced battle setting, and ultimate is very useful to push enemies or to run away.
Pathfinder is another legend that people like, but the recon aspect of the legend is very questionable. He is more aggro-assault legend but with recon label. Basically another version of octane, mobility character. If you are going to classify him as recon he needs some extra ability or skill.
Crypto, the slow paced legend. He has no passive, and using his tactical ability makes him vulnerable, slow, and still. He has pretty good ultimate but it damages him, and even his ultimate is unusable when his drone/tactical is broken and is on cool down. He is very good when it comes to gathering information of your area but the most useless legend when it comes to combat and self sustain. He needs a BIG rework in methods of using his tactical and ultimate.
Valkyrie is a very interesting recon legend, an assault legend with recon glide. When you are gliding, you can highlights enemies but other than that she has literally no recon ability. She does not scan enemies when using her jetpack. She does have a good jetpack hover passive and aggressive missile tactical so it makes her more of a assault legend with recon glide.
Seer, the new recon legend. He has tactical quite fitting for a recon legend, helping him hear legends when they are close by. His tactical highlights enemies for a short time if they are hit by his microchip scan, very good for fast paced fight settings. His ultimate highlights enemies moving around in his microchip sphere, making it easy to teach enemies in close combat. Seer seems to be the best recon legend that has come out after bloodhound. We will be how he will be balanced, if any.
I want to emphasize that pathfinder and Valkyrie needs an extra boost to make them more like recon legends. And also Crypto is a legend not fitted for the fast paced battle royal game, the way he uses his tactical needs a little work. He DOES NOT have a passive, which he desperately needs, and he should be able to use his ultimate even when his tactical is down. Although Crypto can do his job as a recon, he is by far the most unplayable legend out of the recon legends. I hope EA makes some changes without ignoring our feedbacks on crypto who has been out since season 3.
