@Luxxtenebri Kind of amusing. A rebuttal that includes no reasonable argument while also being a personal attack that calls me childish.
Many in the PC group obviously have no understanding or concern for the needs of a controller user. Many view aim assist as a crutch for weak players not a necessary mechanic for dealing with aiming with joysticks.
Many from the console crowd are ignorant as to how strong aim assist is on PC. From the videos I've seen in these threads it's a whole different beast compared to what console has.
Is that a fair adjustment to compensate for the quickness and accuracy of a mouse? Dunno but it's a whole lot simpler if everyone in a lobby has the same input device so boot controllers from PC and M/K from consoles.

Sometimes you get beamed by a guy with a controller, sometimes its a guy with a mouse. I play on PC and couldn't care less. I've tried playing on console and using a controller is so damn painful I say give controller players a slight aid. It isn't so strong that it is turning bad players into gods, it tracks with a players skill level.

ive played both controller and mnk and im diamond 2 on both but im telling you now the amount of aim assist console players get is * dumb, me as a d2 controller player on pc loses most close range fights vs silver/gold console players and they say its because they only get 60frames well news flash i play on a 60hz monitor and it really doesnt makea * difference console players in pc lobbies is basically people with a mini aim bot once its on target there is no * recoil actually * dumb, console players are scum simple as that stay on your own * servers

@Exorial111 Huh I've gone up against gold and silver players before. Silver can't hit anything and perpetually gold players aren't a threat. As a console players it feels like you're lying about what we're capable of.
Also try not to necro old threads. Kind of tasteless.

@Exorial111 Blaming console players makes no sense, they have no say in it, they are gamers using a different input. It is Respawn/EA's fault for not giving PC players and option to opt out of crossplay. I have no issue if controller players have aim assist against other controller players, it seems like they need it to compensate for the slow turning sensitivity of the controller.
But just randomly putting a 60% aim assist in a pc lobby is really unfair to a lot of pc players who may not be able to match that 60% aim assist, it basically sets a skill floor for controllers.
Giving PC players the option to play crossplay, I think Respawn/EA knows it would mean console lobbies may not fill as most pc players I know have issue with aim assist in principle, and would opt out. That is the logical conclusion you can draw as to why PC crossplay option was omitted.
