Remove aim assist now on PC

@MajchiDaFroggoYTYour so hilarious... literally you do realize its a computer... there is no need of ‘’buying’’ a keyboard and mouse do you really expect me to go on google to search the internet with my controller?!?

I’ve never been a fan of gaming in general on keyboard, I mean i will do it on MMORPGs and things where if your clicking the wrong keyboard buttons it dosn’t matter at all but if I have an option to use a controller im using a controller

button layout is one of the few advantages of a controller user without having all of the unnessary buttons in the way like on a keyboard, I played apex legends on keyboard for about a week back in kings canyon and I was doing pretty good grapple swings and things felt so much smoother and gave longer distances but my issue was every single Time I had a close range fight I wasnt familiar enough to be able to move crouch slide jump etc it had nothing to do with being laserred by a controller user as you claim it was my bad movement skills because I was just getting new at it and had to keep some distance between me and an opponent because I wasnt familiar with the buttons yet and clicked the wrong ones like clicking start mid fight was annoying as hell instead of crouching with SBMM being a thing there is honestly no way possible to make a switch over to M+K without starting a new account or strictly staying in the firing range which will help with aiming but imo not irl time gaming experience against other players , apex needs a solo mode because everyone is my skill or bettter as a controller user not as a M+K user... I could just hide all my stats use default skins and just play casual and pretend to be a new player XD while I get used to K+M I guess

honestly I don’t want to use M+K for various reasons, one reason literally right behind my chair is a air vent and if I use m+K the chair bends the vents metal and it even breaks the vent cover lmao because the desk is one of those where the keyboard+ mouse pull out from underneath

Another reason unfamiliar with all of the buttons in general, it would be fine during the day... but at night no way in hell unless I get a keyboard that lights up to show the letters/numbers

Main Reason Ive played with a controller since I started... Im not completely relearning the whole game however I feel like I would have a significant aim improvement based off of me messing around in the firing range last night

My actual main issue now that im thinking about it was whenever I first started the game as m+k and tried doing it in squads my 2 squadmates would always get wiped every fight (still do) frequently and I do aswell lmao theres no way in hell I can 1 vs 3 when I barely even understand the concept as it is so I would always grab my controller everytime I had to 1 vs 3 and it really defeated the purpose, Also this was all before I had to go out of state for a month and a funeral out of state literally right after I returned home and was just a busy time so when I returned to apex I didn’t bother with learning M+K and just jumped right back in with controller as it was during the shadowfall event and I wanted to play shadowfall obviously

@MajchiDaFroggoYTSo I made a new account strictly for mouse and keyboard since theres nothing else to do on apex, Im so bad lmfao but hit fire accuracy is unreal with mouse and keyboard like WTH i didnt even try with the havoc and hitfired so well... but my movements so bad lol but aiming with sights i cant control recoils at all lmao but r-99 was pretty easy just pull the mouse down while firing

@BenchwarmerbrewDots Ive been trying mouse and keyboard for the last hour or so idk im level 7 and literally the only weapons I do good with are the hemlok or havoc and occasionally flatline but literally i would say atleast 6 of my 11 kills are from hemlok lol its one of the only weapons that just bursts in a spot and kills everyone in 2-3 shots i just did a 600 damage game with the hemlok and 3 kills but thats the best ive done so far Im still getting used to things and keep going to settings to change button layouts, Im not doing too well with R-99 like I was in the firing range but I have got 2 kills with R-99 i think and the other 2-3 with havoc/flatline and i think one with a prowler

Anyways your claim of Hemlok being a ‘’controller thing’’ dosnt seem too relevant as its literally the only weapon Im doing good with XD

Honestly idk which is better rn XD I still prefer controller because its what Im used to but I finally figured out the keyboard layout so I know about where the buttons are and just go automatically to them without looking I think Ive been trying mouse and keyboard for 3 hours or so and Im at 2 wins but the first dosnt really count because i died but the last win I just did I got pretty easy lol i threw a grenade and knocked one and the other one was just looting lmfao so killed her and the guy i knocked had self res

My aim is still really bad with m+k but its probally because im trying to use a wingman and those take alot of practice so far Im only really doing good with heavy ammo weapons or an alternator/r301 that have low recoil... even then my aim is all over the place lol i do get alot more headshots compared to controller though which is a major help sometimes its on accident like I had a triple take and took and shot and was an instead headshot like tf is it because with m+k the cursor is more centerred usually? Also sniping in general is so much easier on m+k on controller its so hard to snipe quickly idk how tf staycation and zeus and them do it lol but on m+k its so much easier...

Im not doing great but I think Im doing pretty good for just learning mouse+keyboard, Ive used mouse and keyboard before for about a week but that was back in august or july so been awhile

you clearly dont even know how aim assist works you just heard things.

As far as I can tell all it does is curve around opponents if you just strafe there is a slight curve, and only other thing i notice is it slowers the sights down slightly but still has the recoil to counter, it helps in close range fights but a few times it curved to a knocked opponent

other than a curve of your character and less sensitivity  i really dont see any benefits tbh so idk why people are crying, last night i noticed my mouse has a button on it to lower sensitivity but I havnt tried it too much it would probally be great for sniping though, from the 4-5 hrs i played last night on keyboard and mouse I see advantages like much easier to land shots mid to long range and close range i got alot more consistent headshots compared to my aim on a controller but movement wise Im able to move and aim better in fights on controller (while moving in a fast manor) but its what ive played since i started apex and im new to mouse and keyboard so will take time to master movements I guess while maintaining my aim which imo is pretty garbage on m+k but I won a game as kill leader on lifeline with 6 kills with a gold ava from the train but other than that im only good with hemlok or havoc something thats either low recoil or puts out damage in bursts

Once again getting aim assisted across the map by a controller

funny how i watch controller players have 0 recoil while i watch pros like Diego and Aceu and they have at least some recoil they need to control for their gun. an r99 shouldnt shoot like a freaking lazer across the map no matter how good your recoil control is
