If you're that afraid of controller players, avoid close range combat. If you push be smart about it. A controller player is so easy to melt cause they dont have the movements of a mouse and keyboard player. Both have pros and * but i agree on one point, aim assist is too strong, but if you remove it completely, a controller player doesnt stand a chance against a m/k player.

But FortNite was the gold rush for this genre, and everyone tried to get in on the FortNite money.Now that they're adding cross play, they're at a crossroads. There's so much cheating, recoil scripts, aim assist abuse, console mouse and keyboard aim assist...My guess is that they fix nothing. But I hope I'm wrong.

@DaleWWilson95 Every PC gamer owns 1 or 2 consoles, i'm 27, 20 years playing console, 8 years playing on both console and PC, of course i know aim assist, CoD is full with kids with undetectable Cronusmax cheats, and that's why I'm worry, warzone is already a pain in the *, im very good and sometimes i just die because the kid playing in his couch just press left and right trigger and laser me only because his built in aimbot (aimassist) do all the job for him, but this thread is about Apex aim assist on PC, has always been a problem, but Respawn never addressed aim assist concerns, even whit the huge wave of controller players switching from console to PC on Season 3, but now that crossplay is coming they need to revisit those old concerns.

@DaleWWilson95No, i already played with controller and reached level 100 on Xbox when the game was launched and you can feel the magnetism pulling your aim towards enemies, averageaden, calamiti, knoqd, the kine, daltoosh, xedmin, Soarjonny, nicewigg, snipedown and a lot of controller predators are prove that aim assist is not needed, games like R6 are the prove that is not needed, R6 don'ts have aim assist, and people with big pp's can destroy in that game.
I know M/K is far superior, but the way aimassist is implemented in this game is ridiculous, we're humans and if someone is good will have 140-200ms seconds response time, aim assist have a 0ms response time and that's why even if their enemies are straifing, aim assist will react immediately and change direction and they'll will never miss a shot, controller players don't need to predict movement like M/K, controller players don't need good vision(muzzle flash, dark environments) to successfully track enemies like m/K, controller players don't need full recoil control like m/K only because aim assist have that magnetism, they need remove that feature, and only keep Aim Slow down, and just a softly one.
