Ranked is suppose to be where people go to test there skills, and it should be decided by SKILLS only, and having aim assist isn't skill. This should be done for Console and PC as it will make the game more based on skill and not aim in their direction and it'll lock on. I speak as a Console player, and I feel if you need aim assist don't play ranked because you are not good enough to compete in those competitions of diamond or platinum.
@Blasian311I don’t play console but I do kinda agree with that because on pc I see the need for aim assist to be able to compete with mouse and keyboard players but on console it just seems dumb to have aim assist if every single player is using a controller and I just don’t see the need for it but if they ever added Cross Play or Mouse and Keyboard support on consoles then I would see the need for aim assist on consoles

@Ruler0fWorlds First it doesn't "lock on." As a console player you know how inaccurate a controller can be even with aim assist. It would exist on consoles regardless of the situation on PC.
Secondly it wouldn't increase the skill gap it would simple make the game feel more uncomfortable and lean towards different weapons.
I'm confused as to why everyone supports this and it makes me wonder what people think aim assist actually does. I'm also confused as to why you'd want it to be removed on ranked but not the regular game mode. If you adjust to one way of playing it would be uncomfortable adjusting to another so either keep aim assist or rip it out of the game. Don't just take it out of ranked and treat the other game mode as "easy mode."
