Remove All Dive Trails or Make Permanent for Everyone
You need to remove Series 1+2 Player’s Dive Trails if you plan on making Series 3+ Player’s Dive Trails temporary to make it fair for your entire playerbase. By allowing series 1+2 players to permanently keep their dive trails your not only lowering their incentive to actually play ranked and earn the right to use the trails each season but you are allowing thousands of players to use Apex Predator Dive Trails when only the Top 500 players should be allowed to show off the Apex Predator Trails so we know who the REAL Apex Predators really are
Either you allow everyone to keep the trails permanently or you do NOT grandfather any players in. they need to be TEMORARY FOR EVERYONE
Of Course Nobody is going to agree with me as everyone wants to keep them permanently obviously... but they need to be temporary and you have to earn the right to use them each series regardless if you earned them in series 1+2 players will have to work just as hard in future seasons and they will not get to keep the trails permanently and I see this as a BIG DEAL that cannot go by unnoticed
So in Short, Players should earn the right to use them each series then they should be removed unless they earned the right again or all trails should be permanenent but labeled series 1 diamond ,series 2 predator, series 3 master, series 4 master, series 5 predator ,etc and you can still use the same 4 trails over and over as you said on the dev stream but series 1 and series 5 would have the same trail but different ranks unless a player got the same trail twice... then in that case they could either have the same trail twice or recieve a special variant of the trail like you are giving players a special variant of the badges if they earn the same badge twice
