Randoms dropping solo to a completely different side of the map is destroying this game. They drop and die instantly and then dc. This is a TEAM game. My thought is to remove the drop solo option from the ship and you can only disengage from your squad when your closer to the ground.

Hot drops are fun especially with friends and full of action but sometimes i want to drop safe too.
If you want 20bomb or high damage then you better get some kills early game.
Hot dropping with randoms is definitely harder but still you should follow the team otherwise play with friends.

I like your idea that you can disengage when you're closer to the ground but some players don't know how to drop fast and if you drop late then your squad is dead.
