@KIRAxSUPREMO if I got your suggestion correctly - lock attachments to the weapon - it would remove flexibility e.g. box contains mentioned R-99 but I want to play my R-301, just take attachments.
Basically then we might think about a strategy to pick up legendary ones and just match them with useless weapons and drop so that enemies can't use them separately...

let me explain how the new system will work...
BEGINNING OF THE GAME:
I found an R301 (level 1)...
(R301 (level 1) with all white accessories, no crosshairs.)
LIFELINE: marks an R301 (level 2)...
(R301 (level 2) with all blue accessories, no crosshairs.)
SLAUGHTER BOXES:
whenever I see a slaughter box (purple)...
it will have:
- weapons level 3 or lower or...
- armor level 3 or lower or...
- helmet level 3 or lower or...
- backpack level 3 or lower or...
- level 3 or lower recoil shield or...
- fenix kit or...
- 3x aim or...
- 2x-4x sights...
with this change...
we will no longer be trolled...
you know when you see a legendary slaughter box...
you will see it...
and it's a wingman hop-up...
and you thinking it would be armor (level 4) or...
a weapon (legendary level 4) or...
a backpack (legendary level 4)
anyway, what do you say?

- @KIRAxSUPREMO I still don't understand part about weapons - you want them to be either white or blue e.g. there is no option to have white stock with blue mag or a weapon without all except one attachment which for example is purple?
As for the deathboxes - well you are trying to fix one minor issue by changing the whole system. For me trolling part is actually good for the game.
If the change would be applied I would rather look into:
a) changing colors for particular items
b) changing the color of the deatbox to be relative to the number of particular items per box e.g. if there are 5 whites and 1 purple box would be white and so on
c) setting deathbox color only as per armor rank in it given in most cases people will open the box anyway, in this case it would be just good to have like grayed out box if there is no armor or if the box is empty (just heals)
