It doesn't fit into the game.I lazer a Wriath push her to finish her, and in the 2seconds it takes for me to get to her she's already used a Battery. How is that fair? I outplayed, out positioned, and out aimed her, but she has Gold Armor so she just wins? It does not belong in this game, if anything RNG needs to be less of a deciding factor, and Gold Armor is way too strong. It gives way too much of an advantage, and getting it is RNG it feels bad to play against and unfair to use.

I'll say what everyone says to me - This is how the game goes.I personally love Gold Armor. I can take it from the people I kill too. If you are good enough, you can take out a gold armor person easily. I will snipe them/hit them from afar, see gold armor, and immediately take out someone else from distance. You have to play it right. Don't rush someone with gold armor. Take out their team. This leaves them alone and if you fall back, they may try to revive, thats when you go in. Its not the gold armor, it is the play you make.

The same thing happened to me. Hit a wraith for 130, push her as octane, used jump pad and by the time it takes me to get 30 feet, already back at 170 hp. I died and basically threw and lost the match. If anything it should be as fast as lifelines passive, not faster. It would make it a lot more balanced

Gold armor needs to stay as fast heal. It could be the difference in life or death in third parties. Caustic is also a very good counter to gold shields as well. Cant tell you how many high kill games I've had to fall back, pop a batt, go look for that solo hiding cause his team died & run into a gas trap or get hit by his ult

@Benchwarmerbrew I don't understand this. Everyone all of a sudden hates gold armor when gold backpacks did this SAME effect before season 3. Plus nobody complained during season 3...I will say the spawn rate for it seems WAY higher. I opened a random loot bin in sorting facility and boom gold armor.. I was like OKAY but then was like "This should only be found in a crate or hot zone or vault...."

@EThought113213 I don't think removing gold armor is really a bad idea, but I also like gold armor. Honestly, I don't really care, but removing it would actually be a good idea (personally, I'd rather keep, though).

@SolitaryMassacre Yeah, gold armor isn't really a problem, plus, once they know you're gold, it paints a big ol' target on you. Insta thirsting is the price you pay for wearing it (then again insta thirsting is the price you pay for playing Apex in general, but hopefully you know what I mean)!

Okay so gold armor is a bit OP compared to the other legendary items. I do not suggest removing it, but changing it.
First it heals way too fast and is a complete game changer in a lot of fights. Self rez makes an obnoxious noise and you can get killed easily while doing it. Helmet is good, but not OP and is not like an instant charge rate. There is no weaknesses with gold armor.
I suggest that maybe when you finish someone it works like a phoenix. Full health and armor (some vulnerability). That or just give it one extra tick over the purple armor. Right now its stupid how fast you can heal.. Even all the pro's say it is op.
That or make the fast heal comparison to lifelines and then she can get the faster heal since its her passive.

Still waiting on Gold armor to be nerfed. I'm tired of getting an enemy low only to then have them pop a shield battery by the time it takes me to reload. Way too quick and OP for a battle royale. Nerf it now

@SolitaryMassacre Yeah the reason no one complained is because there was maybe 2 gold backpacks in one match. Now you can have 6+ gold armors late game. The spawn rate doesnt need to be that high and its too fast on heal time

I would like it removed as well a long with a lot of things in the game but I think it wont happen. This shooter feels really casual friendly in terms of just spraying and RNG, so gimmicks like these will remain. Only way I would see things like these getting nerfed or removed is if they plan on going esports and or fully competitive. That as well I dont see happening because EA has never had a competitive game and I do not know if they ever supported competition and balance.
