If you don't fight a complete idiot with a golden backpack they will juke, run around and they WILL find a window of a second or two to fully heal up, other instances is when you expect to have enough of a window to push in and finish someone off, then you're only greeted by their health and shields being fully replenished. How can you know? Golden armor makes shield ticks yellow, golden helmet is pretty much irrelevant, golden knock back shield is obvious, the only overpowered one that eclipses the others is, you guessed it, the backpack. It offers actual combat advantages, that you can fully use all the time, it's not a niche item like others (which it should since it's RNG BASED).
For solo's maybe, but its fine in squad. To be honest i find most of my gold backpacks in the boxes of people i've killed.
