REMOVE MASTIFF ! OMG !
I swear ! I got killed by a guy level 60 ! plz it's a beginner ! MASTIFF requires no shot ! How to ruin a game with 12 bombs cuz of this noob gun ! get brain when you are doing some updates !
Looks like you did not really played the game lately, or not above level 500..
Also you seem to be ignoring some of my points.
Currently the game is like point and click, because of OP shotguns. I said it like 50 times now... And this is not just luck. If it would be luck, it would not happen to me every single game that some shotgun noob just runs straight in F U mode while I try to kill him with a p2020.
R99, Volt, and Devo requires attachments to be strong in mid-range combat. In close range combat they just suck hard against a mastiff, or it requires WAY more effort to survive an encounter against a shotgun noob.
And yes, I play on PC, like I said, you're more than welcome to join me for a few matches to test your idea of R99 is better than the Mastiff.

@CrashA320 The R-99, Volt, Devotion require attachments but they're still strong mid-range where the Mastiff is weak. All four guns are strong enough at close range that I'd need to examine the stats to see which one is actually stronger. None of them "suck hard" against the Mastiff.
I'm trying to keep my posts short so I only bring up points that seem to have value. If I miss anything noteworthy then let me know.
Honestly there's only one thing to consider.
Do you agree that shotguns should have an advantage over every other category at close range? If you agree with that then you believe the Mastiff should dominate at close range but that it does a little too well. A minor nerf may have merit.
If you don't agree that shotguns should win most close range fights then what value does a shotgun hold to you?
Well just got killed a few times FROM MIDRANGE with the damn mastiff without attachments, so this invalidates your first point. Secondly... Have you played the game against 500+ lv players with mastiff with an R99? NO GODDAMN CHANCE. So you can examine your stats, go ahead in the firing range, then go play some games. My assumption is that you don't really play the game, just repeat that shotguns should be op in close range combat.
I agree that shotguns should have advantage in close range combat. What the F I was saying that they have too much advantage... 2 shots and get killed, even with blue/purple armors. THAT IS F.CKING OP. Even the devo can't do the job in that time when you move around and hit the target. The nerfed R99 sucks much more. This is what's not going trough...
I would be perfectly fine without the goddamn shotguns. If you wanna play with them, go play armed and dangerous. That's exactly what it is for.
On the other hand, I started a new account, and feels like much less f.cking shotguns are around. Why is that?
In this way I started to humiliate all the new players who play with shotguns to encourage them not to use that piece of junk. If EA won't do anything, players should.

@CrashA320 Let's keep this short. I don't believe you lost mid range against a Mastiff unless you had a massive health disadvantage. Highly unlikely when it does 52 damage a shot MAX.
Yeah an R99 can drop a purple shielded target nearly as fast as the Mastiff. Requires good accuracy but people complained about the R99 for a reason. Insane DPS.
2 shots huh... So? Sounds like a shotgun being a shotgun. Whether that's unbalaneed or not depends on the rate of fire in comparison to other dominant acc guns.
Sentinel fire rate? 2 shot kill is a joke. Wingman fire rate? 2 shot kill may be a problem but unsure.
The main difference in experience could be that you play PC where players are a bit more accurate but I'd expect full auto guns to be even more lethal in those circumstances. Or is it hard to use MKB at close range?
(Failed to keep it short)
