REMOVE MASTIFF ! OMG !

I swear ! I got killed by a guy level 60 ! plz it's a beginner ! MASTIFF requires no shot ! How to ruin a game with 12 bombs cuz of this noob gun ! get brain when you are doing some updates !

This is Apex, its about movement and there are people with extreme movement to close in gaps and get into peoples faces. You also act like people surprising you or indoor combat doesnt exist which is literally baffling. Staying out of mastiff range is pretty much impossible in most games with how much range the weapon has and how you'll never know what someone is using until they shoot BOTH guns.

Theres a reason why Pred level players use and hate the meta of the mastiff, all it takes is a low profile wraith to rush in and get a close range headshot with the mastiff and you're dead. Literally in most firefights thats all it takes to kill someone, especially if the fight was going on for a while and damage was already taken before the shotgun shot. The gun literally has comparable damage with the Kraber at close range. This is why this gun belongs in the care package, it would be rare in peoples inventory and it would make sense for the damage output you can do with it. Those that want it on the ground simply want it so they can get easy kills against people far better than them, the fact that this is even an option screams that there is an issue.

Let me add you, that with Mastiff, you aim at the body, which is way bigger, than aiming at the head. You can consistently hit for 100+ for the body. Even leg shots with full pellets its 104 damage, same as the body hit.

I don`t play shootgun, cause i prefer tracking weapons, but still when i get my hands on Mastiff i consistently hit for 80+ damage, which tells you the whole story. I don`t even play this gun, not even training with it on the firing range or never ever train shootgun in Kovaak as well.

@LordloshBang the game can be ugly. no recoil twitch or hacker, bs teammates, bs odds, ugly, and you want to remove or nerf the mastiff to make it uglier.!? how about make sure bullets have recoil on the server side so they never spend a full clip on anybody even if their pc sw is hacked.

So you admit its hard for you to aim and put a whole mag at someone, right? :D
And what that pc sw mean ? People cheat only on PC? How many of the console guys are running strikepads and cronusmax ? Probably half the playerbase. Even streamers and so call pro is using it.
As far as Mastiff goes i think its time to go CP and bring back the PK, but nerf it properly.

A perfect example of someone who uses the the mastiff as a crutch, you want balancing towards recoil? get rid of aim assist from controller, especially with crossplay being a thing. Its literal auto aim and ruins gameplay. Being skillful enough to track someone and full magdump people does not need to be nerfed, the Mastiff as a weapon does. Either that or it needs to be in a care package so only one or two can be on the map at a time.
