Why are the high rank teammates always the most toxic ones? Of all the master/pred teammates I had during the last two years, there have only been a few that weren’t toxic towards me, and only one of them was actually nice and team-oriented. How ridiculous is that?? Yes, I don’t have your skill, but I try to keep up, give you all the loot you want, res where needed. But all I get is trash talk.This is the very first time I reported someone because of harassment and hate speech towards my relatives, and at this point I honestly don’t even know if it makes a difference. He only spoke and never typed so he probably gets away with it…No matter who you play with and what their skill level is, if they’re trying their best and be a helpful teammate, that’s all I ask for. I would rather have a less skilled player that gives me a shield cell when I need one, compared to the epic player that might secure the win but is toxic all the way.

@Solim66 Dont think anything you report other than "vulgar harassments" (like the c-word etc) or "hate speech harassment" (n-word, f-word that rhymes with maggot etc) has any affect what so ever. But the detection algorithm for those two categories is super sensitive, especially "hate speech" which probably will get them permabanned without warning. But just a comment on the toxicity from "masters". I really try to not be toxic and I usually only say or write something if THEY say something first. Instead I just leave the game but never before I am executed, which ofc also is a bit toxic. But to their "defense" it really can start to get to you when you, for the 10th game in a row, get randoms who literally do NOTHING in fights and also acts like a * (from your pov that is).

@Solim66 I think it helps in 2 ways. One, it probably helps some of these players get at least some form of punishment, even if it's just a temporary ban for 7 days or something. This is good because it makes them think twice in the future before using at least the worst language.Second, I think it helps the person being targeted to not respond. You don't have to just sit there and take it. You can report them. This gives you at least some sense of "I'm doing something." It seems to relieve stress without needing to resort to the same type of insults.

That's so messed up that you think if I want to have fun in Apex Legends I have to not have two other teammates and be at a disadvantage to more than 70% of the lobby. I don't want to follow anybody no one should tell me how to play a multiplayer game, and it's really sad that you think that's the only option to play this game. The stick to what you're good at message is along the lines of an awful mindset as well, if everybody just stuck to what they were good at everybody would sit in a chair doing nothing because it's very easy to be good at doing nothing, nothing would get accomplished, nothing would be done.

@DaBabyDa If the "aggressive alpha players" think that random teammates are dead weight, then why aren't THEY playing solo? You're suggesting that weaker players should play solo so they don't bother the alpha players, which absolutely doesn't make sense to me. If they are so alpha and sweaty, let them sweat alone instead of being toxic to teammates. Taking all the loot, pushing solo between two fighting teams, getting knocked and then the mic goes on just to throw some insults at me or wishing that my relatives die a horrible death. Very classy stuff. If this type of behaviour is common amongst the top tier players, no wonder people think gaming communities are toxic.

Plenty of topics pop up on here from people whining about being banned and they call claim they "only" said this, or "only" said that . .
They obviously do punish people that are being reported. I assume there must be some trigger words that have to be used for them to take action rather than just general toxic behaviour.

@Solim66 Everytime I see someone with 4k 20 bomb on my team they usually just instantly leave before/during the dropship and this happens 9 times out of 10

@Solim66 They typically only send warnings or bans for TYPED verbal abuse, if you want to record a clip of the voice chat shitters and send it in that's probably a better bet.

@Balladalidila Of course I did a lot less damage compared to my teammates, they both did over 2k and I did only 700 dmg. I did have 3 revives given and the funny thing is that they would not have won the game without me.
The problem is that they can do and say anything they want without any form of repercussions. If an experienced, high ranked player can do this so many times, is there really any form of punishment? I'm really considering just leaving before the dropship if I see a master/pred on my team because 95% of the time they're going to get toxic.

@papahandsoap I did record the last 5 minutes of my game. Most of it seems to be in russian (or some slavic language) but the last sentences are in english with some really distinct words. He also goes haywire when I kill someone and keeps punching me until the end... It's not like he was going for 20kills or 4k damage.

@Solim66 The game system is not created on the principle - strong against weak. But they could alleviate the suffering of weak players by bringing them into the lobby for weaker players or to put some level limits like level 1 - 20 , 20-70,70-270, 270-500. It is perfectly normal when you are a strong player (you play the game every day, you have reached master/predator every season) not to want to carry the weak ones. The game is based on the principle - the more you play, the better you become, unless you play just to kill your time and you don't care. If you intend to have fun and not care about the game at all - there is one option - NO FILL SQUAD. The game has become either you follow the strongest in the team or he plays alone and you are disappointed with the game. Don't blame the players for their bad behavior, they are probably stronger than you, they know how to play (when to wait, when to attack, they are not idiots). I am a solo player (ps4) and I support all solo players and their behavior. One free tip - find the game you're good at and play it, or find the activity you're good at and don't play games.

@Solim66 At the beginning of this season I was in a ranked team with 2 random players (they were friends). One of them was - now we will loot 10min and then we will die as usual. I remained silent because I felt that they were people who did not play the game every day. On our first fight with another team - (the negative and depressed random 1) was smashed first. Purple armor, r99 and rampage and he did 30 damage against RE45 player with white armor... and ofc he started whining and complaining, but the truth is that he is a BIG NOOB. I can only tell you to expect more hatred in the future, unless you improve your gameplay.

@Solim66 Honestly, if someone reports your message / voice chat it should ALSO send what they typed / spoked so BOTH sides can get equally punished. Right now, people just have to bait you into getting mad, and then they cancel you faster than a 14 year old white girl on Twitter.

That's so messed up that you think if I want to have fun in Apex Legends I have to not have two other teammates and be at a disadvantage to more than 70% of the lobby.
