i feel like the "punish early leavers in pubs!" is an emotional response. not logical.
but willing to compromise perhaps dont let someone quit until a 30 second timer passes. the last thing we want is to not be able to play another match for a period of time.
finding friends to play with is also another way to guarantee your team doesnt leave.
comment below: if you want to put a frowny face next to my name, im perfectly fine with that. 👍
- AreYouShivering5 years agoNew Ace@NoLove1337 I am not insisting on heavily punishing leavers - just displaying a bad reputation on a player's account should lead to leveraging that player into a better team player. Nobody wants to have a negative label stuck to their account.

Just play few games according to the rules, and you go from negative into neutral and then positive. Also, this reputation system can be temporary, resets into neutral after season - not something that stays with you forever.

@AreYouShiveringI think having any negative system might not be truly representative due to toxicity or frustration. Having a ladder to climb positively though, especially in random matchmaking (due to exploits) could work with badges obtainable like ''till the bitter end'' or ''taking the lead'' to show others you're a team player is potentially a good idea.
