Respawn have made matchmaking somehow worse

Matchmaking has always been awful & it does fluctuate with how bad it is, but the last few days they must have decided to make it hell because I'm against even more 3 stack Masters & Preds than usual that are just landing on me wherever I land (even in the middle of nowhere!) I solo q so I often lose, but this is just ridiculous. I haven't had a single win in 2 weeks I believe, yet this is who I am supposedly supposed to go against. They made ranked sweatier by making it so even in Bronze I was against Masters/Preds & now they're making pubs even sweatier. If they want me to quit the game again this is the way to do it 😂

    Yes, it's their new matchmaking system.  If it determines you're good at the game, you only play against good players in pubs and in ranked.  Really makes pubs worth playing over ranked.....

    Well with some of the changes lined up for S18, hopefully it'll become better.

    @XHelperZ No high hopes for that, they stayed real quite about the specific MMR matchmaking based system and focused only heavy on the "we are adjusting LP point given in ranked so that instead of 30 days worth of time playing 30% of all players end up in masters now will take 60 days instead." problem and they went out of their way to insist this system will forever stay in both ranked and pubs. I am sorry to say EA/Respawn have fudged you over...

    You have two choices. You endure this hell they want you to go through or, you can leave the game and let someone else suffer, preferably EA/Respawn as a company. The said tuning and tweaking to the god awful MMR based matchmaking will likely take ages, seasons. We are probably speaking of years before this stabilize, and remember, it is not even guaranteed to stabilize and balance out to a point where the game is fun again.
