Respawn ruined Apex

Apex is unplayable in its current state: I would rather wash my face with battery acid than play this game that I used to love. Every match, whether it's pubs, ranked or mixtape since the end of last season has seen the sweatiest matches & I have been playing regularly since season 4 so I know it's always been pretty bad. It's like every person has aimbot now & or holds hands so as soon as you see someone you have already been lasered to death. I decided for the first time ever to just go afk in a tdm match because the other team was just all bunched up team firing together so it was impossible to actually do anything; basically a 1v3-6 every fight. I have complained about the matchmaking in this game for as long as I can remember, but never would I have envisioned that they could somehow make it so bad that I wouldn't enjoy it at all & think about uninstalling. I know I'm preaching to the void because nobody cares, least of all Respawn: which is why we're getting the Titanfall 2 treatment where they just give us the bare minimum. 129 days, 16 hours & 48 minutes played, 5 heirlooms bought, a ridiculous amount of skins etc. A lot of money/time invested that now feels like a waste. Last season I quit for around about half the season because I was tired of solo queuing & now they have finally made me tired of them; I have no faith that the game will improve because all they care about is money. The mods can cry all they want, it's all the truth.

    I thought same thing and acused cheats every fight after coming back to this game since S12. :D

    Bro I think people are actually that good in this game now because those cheats are pretty expensive so obviously not everyone can have them.

    Dont play Mixtape, it always ruins the game for me too, its just one sided stomp every game.

    BR is what this game is about.

    Much more fun.

    @Awhoo_Thunder Well they could be using mnk on console, a strikepack or they could just be 100x better than me, in which case it's just bad luck on my part. I didn't used to have a problem with mixtape, it just all of a sudden became awfully sweaty. Unfortunately BR is what I am having most trouble with: I am used to going against sweats, but I have never been so quickly decimated by anyone I come across. Maybe the SMG nerfs are hitting me hard or I'm just washed up 🤣

    @flakeeey0304 So to understand you right, you play a pvp game and you have an issue with the game beeing sweaty ? Maybe we understand sweaty differently. But it sounds to me like that you don’t want to tryhard to win ?

    Matchmaking will never be fair no matter how hard a company tries, there will always be someone that gets the short end of the stick.
    Without even to start talking about problems that show up with top tier players and low end players all of them need to get stuffed somehow into this mess, creating obviously issues especially when high tier players end up in avg tier lobbies

    @BallisticMVP You & I have a different definition + you're just misunderstanding me. A sweaty player in my opinion is someone you have little to no chance against, like you're just getting absolutely rolled over because they're treating the game like it's pro league with money on the line. I am sure you have experienced this plenty of times, as most Apex players have: you come across a team that you can't seem to do anything against & no sooner have you started fighting them you're dead. I am only a slightly above average player who predominantly solo queues so almost every fight is challenging, but what makes the current matchmaking particularly sweaty is the amount of players who I can't even put a dent in. It's like all of a sudden everyone can't miss a single shot. As I mentioned in my original post I'll see someone & I'm just lasered; their accuracy is just too good to even do anything. I understand that it's impossible to make a perfect matchmaking system, but I believe the game is vastly overestimating my skill level & creating the worst lobbies this game has ever seen. I am used to going against people better than me, I am used to going against 3 stacks, I am used to having dead weight teammates, but I cannot get used to matches where every single player rolls over me.
