Revenant Buffs and Nerfs

So I'm going to keep it brief. One buff, one nerf for every Revenant ability:

Passive: Revenant's passive is extremely underrated. It's one of the reasons I main Revenant. But it doesn't really go hand in hand with his other abilities. So my idea is to give him a second passive. Revenant is the third party king, so he should know when to third party. My idea for his passive would be to whenever somebody is knocked or killed in a 30 meter radius, the location is marked on his HUD. If you do this, make Revenant a recon character.

Tactical

Buff: When an enemy is silenced, you can see them as if looking through a digital threat scope.

Nerf: Reduce time silence lasts, and reduce number of charges from 2 to 1.

Ultimate

Buff: When you knock someone while in death protection, the death protection duration is increased by 30 percent.

Nerf: When you place your death totem, a notification appears on the screen of all enemy players in a 30 meter radius notifying them that a totem has spawned.

Revenant should be a recon character.

Also, change Revenants punch animation so he's stabbing with his fingers.

Please consider these changes.

  • As much as i dont really care for Revenant as a character i would 100% agree with stabby fingers being his melee. I might actually use him if that was implemented. But i personally dont care much for the idea of a character and their abilities being built around third partying. 

    As far as your suggestions i wouldnt say theyre too far gone. But my opinion still stands on it being a bad idea for a character to be used solely for 3rd partying

    @Slender-v1 Yeah, I totally agree. And if they removed his third partying abilities, that would be fine. But if they're going to make a third party character, they should do it right.
  • @s0apt0ken I agree, I dont know how they should change him. Its already past the point of making any drastic changes to his kit. You know since hes basically an expert assassin it would be an interesting idea if everyone who used the death totem had silent movement. But that might be too crazy. Unless they drop the health buff. Having to inflict 100 damage only to actually have done 50 is very frustrating. They should also remove abilities while youre in death totem (at least gibbys gun shield, i mean come on man)

    @Slender-v1 Yeah, I really think that buffing Revenant ultimate in small ways like silencing movement is really what he needs. I main Revenant for one reason, his passive allows you to walk right into the enemy fortress without them realizing it. Flanking. I really like characters that have kits that are based around creative movement.
  • @s0apt0ken I think bolstering his kit regarding his silence and movement would be good. Also if I may suggest that his tactical maybe makes silenced players give an audible ping kind of how you can hear bloodhounds while they're in their ultimate. Wouldn't be too OP because it would require a decent amount of coordination to still find the silenced player. That, opposed to seeing silenced players through obstacles. Since I don't play him though I don't know if it doesn't already do that. I know it gives a screen effect and noise on the receiving end.
