What is the meaning of this contact site?

The only times the game's specifications are changed are when many pros complain or when the developers insist there were requests from a small community and change them based solely on their own opinion. Is this acceptable? If so, what's the point of this inquiry site? Do the developers even read this? If they do, I'd like them to respond to my feedback.
