S22 Battle Pass - Too Many Levels

I thought the battle pass was going to only have 60 levels for split one and then another 60 levels for split two, (with possible 10 extra levels per split, making it 120 levels or 140 levels if you include the bonus levels).

However, the battle pass for split one has 100 total levels, which the remaining 40 levels is only upgrading a single badge and the pass doesn't even tell you that these levels exist until you hit level 60 in the battle pass.

This is a problem for several reasons.

1) The average player would have to no-life the game in order to finish the battle pass. This will cause burnout and force players away from the game as they'll get tired of the game. If split one has 100 levels, than that would mean that split two would also have 100 levels, making there be a total of 200 levels. That's a lot of playing Apex. It takes me most of the season to hit level 110, (and I have a lot of free time on my hands). I can't imagine how much this would be annoying for those who are busy 24/7.

2) Its not worth it to finish the remaining 40 levels when the only reward is a maxed out badge.

3) Respawn removed items from the battle pass, (like the season trackers), because they wanted there to be less filler and/or unused items. This badge is basically a filler item that would end up becoming unused.

4) The design team would be spending a lot of time creating 5 versions of a badge, rather than creating just two. At this rate, they'll be making 10 badges per season as there would be 5 per split. 3 seasons from now, that would be 30 badges, so on and so forth.

5) There's not enough weekly challenges to finish a split's whole 100 levels, leaving players with the only option of logging in everyday to do the daily challenges and let's be real here, most days players aren't going to want to get on or have the time to get on. While its possible to finish the battle pass, the goal is unrealistic. While again, (and I can't stress this enough), I'm someone who has A LOT of time on their hands, and even to me this looks like a nightmare to complete. But, I suppose I'll do what I can and if I don't finish it, oh well. Its just a badge that would get ignored anyways.

In short: Respawn should lower this down to 70 levels per split, (60 levels + 10 bonus levels), or no longer having bonus levels as we're already at 120 levels per season, (from the normal 110 levels per season). Grinding another 10 levels for a badge feels more worth it than grinding 40 levels for the same badge.

Battle passes make or break a game and with a pass that has a grind like this, (even though there are good looking cosmetics), makes it feel unappealing to complete and I can see this driving away a lot of players. Even though Fortnite has 200 levels itself, its for the whole season and players have a ton of ways to level up. Apex S22 started last month on August 6th and the first split is almost over, (ending in 10 days). This means that from August 6th to September 17th, there's 42 days to grind out 100 levels, rather than having around 84 days to complete the battle pass. If players can't spend several hours a day on the game, they're not going to finish the pass in time.

The only other thing that would work besides reducing the total amount of levels, is to do what Halo did, which was to allow players to continue working on the battle pass, while also being able to buy the ones they weren't around for to go ahead and complete alongside the other battle passes.

Edited: I was looking more into this and found that the dailies give a total of 10 stars. If you did ALL the dailies from August 6th to when the split ends, you'd get 420 stars. Those 420 stars would mean 40 levels with a 20% progress towards another level. Besides earning stars through earning EXP, it would seem like we were expected to play every single day since the launch of the season, (once again bringing home the fact that its very unrealistic to expect any player to have time for that, (let alone not be burnt out)).

I hope Respawn would remove the extreme amount of levels and do any of the above mentioned ideas. (Removing the bonus levels, only having 10 bonus levels, or pulling a Halo). We could also just go back to only having one pass per season while keeping the revamps, but I doubt that would happen.
