SBMM - RIP Apex
I’m an average player who won now and then, for every bad game, I’d get a good one. Now every game is just really hard and not fun any more. I play ranked if I want a consistently challenging experie...
there isnt much hope for this game im afraid, digging their own grave

I still would like to know how the SBMM works!
Some say hit-accuracy, K/D ratio and wins are taken into account.
But this is all speculation!
Especiallly the flexebility off the MM would be interresting.
If I play 5 bad matches in a row, will I get easier matches, or do I need much more matches to change my SB-rank?
It always feels to me, that the first matches on a new day are pretty easy....
I get my first win of the day pretty often in match 1-3 of the day!
EA/Reaspawn please give us more transparancy here!
I would guess that they are continuously tweaking the SBMM to find a good balance. That seems to be their general method; i.e. to implement something new directly to the live servers with minimum prior testing and then just "see how it goes and adjust accordingly". Other example of this: Distributor rounds and the Charge rifle that both were incredibly broken when first released. But to my experience, it seems like the SBMM is based "fresh stats" i.e. it seems to go after your recent games and not your lifetime kills etc.
And Respawn and transparency?? Haha they dont know what PR is to be honest. Compare this to how Riot games and Bluehole work. Every patch they go through in detail exactly what and why they have done. Respawn just do stuff and hope it will work =)
