Fact is, ppl like me, and others are INCREDIBLY INCONSISTENT.
I am a season 0 player as well, 1/75 games is a win, 1.4kd, over 10k kills overall
One match I can have a match like the one 4 days ago, where I got 3700 damage with 13 kills, still got only 4th place, and which was my best match BY FAR.
(I only managed to get 3 other times over 3k damage, and it was in the very early 3000's.)
Other matches I can find myself missing every damn shot, have zero sence of gameplay, making huge mistakes placement wise,...
The very second the system smells you had a decent game (by decent I mean 5 kills and top 5, and I say decent, because very good games are VERY rare, like 1/200 matches), next 5 games you've been put into lobbies filled with sweats, masters, preds, 20 bombs, 4k's, holding hands,...
No need to say these guys are no match against my skinny ***.
The issue in my eyes:
sbmm is WAY to harsh, and punishes people for having a decent game once in a while, by feeding them to the sharks and putting them between the pros for the next 5 games.
Suggestion:
I can agree with harder lobbies when you get a good game, but for the love of everything that's holy, there is absolutely no need for us to be between ppl with 5+kd's!!!
Why does that make sence to ea/respawn?
lower down your sbmm punishments for having a decent game fcs...
That
AND the fact, leaving a game BEFORE you turn into a deathbox, doesn't count as a death, thus messing with your kd stats, and I bet that's messing with your matchmaking as well, putting you into higher lobbies because of your kd is higher than in fact it should acually be alot lower.
Been shouting this a couple of times before here on the forum, yet no official anwser, nor a fix.. so idk what to think about this
EDIT: to give you an example, I had that 3700 damage game 4 days ago. Haven't played since. I just started a couple of hours ago, and I'm still sifting through stupid lobbies that are beyond my skill level. Think I only managed 3 or 4 kills TOTAL in all those games before getting lasered down by some sweat. I'm not having fun, AT ALL
