You know whats sad? When a game has obvious design issues and people talk about it and then some man hating goblin enters the room and rants against testosterone and people not wanting to get * on in a competetive online game repeatedly.

You know whats also sad? That normal queues are not enjoyable anymore whatsoever, particularly when you solo. On one hand, the lobby is full of tryharding high skill stacks, on the other hand half the lobby is dead by the 3 minute mark because they "hotdropped" and "just wanted to have fun".

And somehow it is supposed to be appropiate to autofill your team with bronze4 or sub lvl 50 players against said predator tryhard stacks.

Yeah, great times. So much fun to play this game if you don't bring your high skill teammates along. SBMM is trash and I will continue to smurf in ranked because it is the only enjoyment I can get out of the game right now as someone who plays solo most of the time.

@f0rtn1t3-pl4y3r I get you, I just won't do it myself, I'd more likely just quit the game before smurfing. It's clear SBMM affects the solo player more than the pre-made teams, Apex just isn't the game for people wanting a good solo experience.

All I see are 2 categories:

Below average to complete bot.

or...

Above-average to pro.

Your either getting mixed in with one or the other. You make a smurf, and you destroy people in that low category until you finally get put into the other one. Then you smurf again, Rinse and repeat.

There is no ''fair matchmaking right now'' for the 'above average/good player (but not insane). Your only options right now are flex on people or get flexed on. So, I completely understand your point of view as to why you're smurfing.

    Pretty good summary. 

    But why shouldn't the game be enjoyable for solo players?

    They need to fix autofill and they need to soften up this SBMM, otherwise the only way to enjoy solo queuing will be in custom game modes like Winter Express.

    Like * me, not half the lobby need to be diamond players just because I have a 2+ kdr. It just isn't a fun experience.
