Serious Problems In Ranked... Hackers Galore
So I honestly want to talk about something that needs to be addressed. The amount of hacking that occurs in high rank lobbies is legitimately out of control. In the last 5 days, ranked has been CRAWLING with hackers left and right, to the point where I literally can only handle about 30-60 minutes of ranked sessions before returning to pub lobbies and having no choice but to "stomp" the lobby.
In one night alone in consecutive back-to-back games:
2 controller, 1 PC team being boosted by a Aimbotting PC hacker
Hacker with aimbot is downing people mid-train yard into Countdown and Staging with a 1x Scope on an R301
Hacker in Skyhook melting people with a Hemlock, and pretends to be using a controller to only be caught the next game snapping and locking on people through walls.
PC Player with a fancy Japanese Steam Name with 20 IQ melting people with an R-99
Its very concerning when you have a function in-game to report hackers and you continually see them in your game. Yesterday alone I reported 5 hackers in-game, through EAC and through RSPWN_Hideouts on twitter. Its a joke. I legitimately begin to think that the integrity of the game is unacceptable. The stark reality is I have a small community of people I routinely play with who are also attempting to grind out your Diamond ranks and I wake up to messages this morning from them saying and I quote:
"The way this game is handling hackers doesn't make me want to play, I try to get better and just face hackers to no avail".
"I was literally telling my girlfriend last night I don't feel like playing this game anymore".
The only "safe" thing to do in these lobbies is to just camp a building, wait for a team to get the drop on them and grab as much KP as you can. Playing the game as its intended to be played, such as running to get that third party and mop up or simply running into a fresh team and having a team fight is just not feasible. This is why people are camping. The team fights are a toss up.
After putting more than 1000+ hours since the whole COVID-19 quarantine, I really enjoy this game as my primary go to game but last night... I literally felt like just uninstalling the game and moving on. Its sad to see preferential treatment being given to content creators and pro-players as they can seemingly DM someone instantly and have them banned live while they are spectating the player. Absolute joke.
