Shields are too powerful

LOLZ at first when reading the title I thought 'wait, ppl still find the TTK too long by way of shield?' then read your first line and saw that you actually meant knockdown shield (at least for the most part assuming your post). Then I figured that you were just joking but you're not joking are you? 

Just like @Pretzelnutcake mentioned. The KD shield is there to protect you and sustain life if possible. Most of the time you get killed either way but in some cases that thing can save your life and extent your playtime. For instance another party attacks the squad that downs you and they have to divert their attention. It's s great piece of defence. 

And unfortunately you are wrong. But it's all right. Purple armor = 100 health on top of your 100 health = 200 health. Purple KD shield shields you for 750. So basically, if you wanna see it that way, which frankly is a wrong way of looking at it, at least in my opinion, you have 950hp. I think the blue one has 200/250 defence/health points. 

If you see someone with purple shield, don't bother shooting at it. Most likely you will die by his teammate or someone else if you do. If he's close, punch him to death, finish him off or just throw/spam throwables. That is if you really want that kill. 

If you're smart however, you shoot at him, let him use his shield. Run away to a place he can't see you from, thinking you ran away or searching for his teammate. Do a loop around him and kill the sucker. Better yet, find his teammate and kill him.
