Simple solution to cheating that no one has listened to.

Question

I have mentioned multiple times to the customer service staff that cheating is worse now more than ever. I offered a simple solution that discord has implemented to keep people out of servers, that would also work for MASSIVELY reducing cheaters and smurf accounts. With the new season having splits, now we have to deal with an increased number of cheaters all season, instead of just at the beginning, or the desperate end of season push that we're used to.

Instead of focusing on mixing up the game so it's different, focus on correcting the aspects players are having so much difficulty with. I also think there should be an option to report for walling, even though it's much harder to prove if the person has a shred of brain.

Link a phone number to each origin account. It is WAY harder to make a bunch of spam phone numbers just to make another account. This is a much simpler way to stop cheaters from playing by making it a platform based banning system, instead of just a game based one. Weed out all of the cheater accounts, and we'll eventually catch up. Ranked is, and has been unbearable due to cheaters for this entire season so far. It's exhausting and everyone is getting tired of it, which is forcing people to leave. I understand it's a free to play game but there needs to be some permanent consequence. I'm convinced we're not even getting ban waves anymore. Ideas?

@MoNosDirtyGaming&nbsp;Actually you are wrong, because many companies like Google, Facebook, etc., have systems in place that know about all the Spam/Disposable numbers out there in the world.Of course this can also be a cat and mouse chasing game, just like how Antivirus works, but soon enough the newer generated numbers are caught and blacklisted.Using Spam/Disposable numbers with companies that know how to combat this is not that easy to get away with.I won't argue that some will get through the system, but the majority will not, and this is a good layer of security to add, by having Phone Verification on Origin Accounts!If Google can do this, given the amount of money EA makes, they can also invest in this to combat at the Phone Verification level for Accounts!P.S. @taderMash_twitch&nbsp;You should change the Post Title as example, to hopefully draw EA's attention to it!EA - Add Origin 'Phone Verification' To Help Combat Cheating

Not sure what you getting on about the 1 pound Sim?

Yes there are cheap cell plans and sims and numbers to be had, it all depends on where you live in the world, some places yes, some no.

Sure someone can still cheat, but they might find them self spending money all the time getting banned and needing new sim cards or new cellphone plans.

Anyhow nothing is perfect or fool proof, but phone verification will add a layer that makes it just a little bit harder, and for some, not worth the effort, or can afford...
