@unknownanon64I wouldn’t trade in a legendary for no less than half of the metals, if it costs 1200 I expect a minimum of 600 and epics for no less than 200 since they cost 400 to craft, rares should give no less than 30 since they cost 60 and commons should give no less than 15 since they cost 30
You are not the first one to mention this idea, Ive said it multiple times already and Ive read atleast 5-10 other topics about it
i really don’t understand your prices at all tbh... a legendary costs 1200 to craft yet you only want to recieve 50 crafting metals for it? So your ok to lose 1150 potential cost and not even have enough to craft a rare (blue) item by losing a legendary....
this is why im saying no less than half, if we got full price it would be too easy to get the skins we want but that wouldn’t be any cost to us, but doing it halfway we have to sacrifice 2 legendarys for 1 legendary and you will only be able to do that so many times, I mean I don’t have a whole lot of legendarys sitting around that I want to get rid of, I would want to sacrifice a bloodhound one and i could find another somewhere i would sacrifice to get a skin but thats about it tbh I like most of my legendary skins,banners,weapons, etc
- 6 years ago@unknownanon64 It sounds good but i dont see why we need a limit on it, some players may have abunch, some players may only have a few they would like to get rid of, most of the players that have more have either played longer or spent alot of money and either earned/bought their skins so If they want something better with them I don’t really see the point in a limit, also the more people salvage, the more apex packs they will have to buy to either get more skins they want or to get more to salvage so EA/Respawn can sell more apex packs lol

- 6 years ago@unknownanon64 there definitely should be a ‘scrapping’ system allowing players to dismantle unwanted cosmetics for crafting materials, period
there is no need to put a limit on it because there is ‘no duplicates’ rule implemented, so whenever you would dismantle, say, a legendary skin you’re basically opening up the chance of getting the same legendary again while lowering the chances of getting a new one
that in itself is limiting enough
the only question is buy/sell rate - in most games you get 25% of the crafting cost, while i would love to see it being 50%, it’s just not realistic
TL;DR - i vote for ‘scrapping system’
