Small List of Things Apex Could Use.
DEVICES
- Users should be able to choose if they wany to play with or without different control devices.
- Controller users with aim assist off should be able to choose if they wany to play with users with aim assist on.
- Controller users should be able to move and loot.
-Aim compensation should be moved to the main controller settings so turning it off doesn't change the users settings.
GAMETYPES
- Deathmatch, Kill of The Hill, Rush from Battlefield 3, Something to keep playing.
-Should be able to queue while still in their last game (no title screen needed).
-Crossplay be added to grow the community around Apex Legends.
ANTI CHEAT
-EAC: The turn around that it takes for a cheater to get banned, to the time it takes that user to make a new account is sad. I don't like to point fingers at anyone, but it's clear someone is looking out for cheaters. EA, Respawn and/ or Epic Games this is at you directly.
Public games has an icon to show if you're being watched.
Making accounts takes under 5 mins, getting banned for aim bots takes 3-14 days (Really depends on if 1 of the 20+ people at EAC feel like working that day).
I made this same comment back in JUN 2019 with cheaters in Apex Legends and Battlefield 5. Not a single message back tell i posted it on BBB's website, you'll replied back in 2 hours. No company lets actions like this happen without a reason. Warzone has been out less time and already done 1000% more than EA, why?
People are cheating to boost accounts and than selling those accounts online. What worry does a random cheater have to lose? Accounts are 100% free. Some changes below could help apex with it's cheating issue. And do i mean cheating issue. They're 64 players game a single game. I've found 3 cheaters this last week in 3 games back to back.
So 3 games with each having a cheater with only 64 players and one was myself, in a row. Rememebr that's just the open cheaters to let you know their there. What about the ninja cheaters or the ones using radar hacks from another device. You wouldn't be able to tell. Cheating is the number 1 issue with PC gaming, FIX IT.
I also think to this day, EAC is just marketing for Epic Games and in return Epic games pays EA to show it. They can post and say 400 billion accounts banned, Why wouldn't those same accounts just make new accounts? What is the turn around for the bans? How long did it take for their software to catch someone, has it ever found anything by it self?
-Free accounts shouldn't be able to level and/or gain skins without real phone linked to their account.
-XIM / Cronusmax devices be removed from playing on all systems.
-More work on banning users who use reduced recoil with scripts on mouse and controllers.
-Someone at EA needs to talk to Micrososft on creating a system to combat cheating. Windows Gaming OS, a closed gaming system is what PC should be focused on.
-Icon for viewers in public should be removed.
