This season has seen an insane amount of Smurfs in Ranked to levels beyond comprehension.Whereas normally people in Bronze can barely aim or shoot a gun, people in Silver have a 2 second reaction time and Gold is easily soloable, now we have 3-stacks in Bronze with aimbot accuracy?!?!?!What is going on with people smurfing so hard, this was unseen in previous seasons and really stops me from playing the game if I can't just do some casual ranked to sit out Storm Point on pubs

Well Respawn has said that if players want to smurf for "the grind" .... than that is ok, no matter how many of their opponents are destroyed along their path to make "the grind."
Do I agree with it? - No!
I don't see why it is ok to stomp lower level players even if it is just for "the grind."

They can start playing ranked at level 10 I believe, why not make it level 20 or 25, then you can play ranked. There's been a ton of 3 stack smurfs in ranked lately. I unfortunately don't have the time to play the game much more than 10 hrs a week, but when I do get the chance to jump on, I'm getting ape'd by three level 19s with 4k 20kill badges.

@freire6 Minimum level to join ranked should be level 100. With shoving all the low level "preds" into the same lobby, so the rest of us don't have to deal with them.

A significantly higher minimum level to get into ranked queues really is the quickest, simplest solution that should see some immediate results. By creating a minimum amount of unranked games required to get an account into ranked queues, smurfing becomes more of a hassle. It's in just about every game ever, and I'm having a hard time trying to come up with a reason why Apex Legends doesn't have this, outside of intentionally letting players smurf easier.

@XxColdFangxX Yup, they said for the grind is ok. However they also said, that if players are doing it to farm lower lobbies than that is not ok. Haha, just ridiculous. The result is the same regardless why the smurphing is being done.

Alot of ppl just made 3 accounts and switch them every split till the ranked rewards are waywayway less entertaining than farming noobs.

@NickBeam27 Nah it's a joke! It says on their Apex website that rank is : "Play against similarly skilled opponents"
Well all the smurfs and bronze to master challenge bs they let running and don't punish is anything but that. They say one thing and do another because I guess pros don't complain about bronze lobbies ever??
