So Pros arent held to Code of Conduct but we get banned?

Look, I dont really care what someone says in game or text chat because I am fine with giving it right back to them.

However, after getting banned last year for 2 weeks on a first offense for using profanity in game, its hilarious to me that there are different tiers on how this is enforced. Seems we normal players, aka the majority that keep this game running, are held to different policies than pros and its frustrating to see this so blatantly displayed. All you have to do is look at scrims chat which is being streamed live every time for all to see. Thats not even taking into account the amount of ppl still streaming this game using wall hacks as well.

Edit: Removed image showing player ID. This is against our rule on "naming and shaming".  -CM

I can understand you'd want to try and get something actioned however possible, but posting it here will get nothing done. We cannot investigate these reports via the forums, so the only thing that would come of posting that information here would be getting your account actioned for violating the forum rules.

While you may not see as many results as you'd like, reporting absolutely does result in action being taken. Perhaps not as quickly as you'd like or in every situation, but we constantly action accounts when our records and tools can back up those claims.

Addressing cheating is a constant and ongoing battle in every competitive multiplayer game out there. If you do send those reports our way either in-game or through the webform here, it's much appreciated. Posting that here on the forums is not an alternative.

As far as the original point, something said in a private lobby chat is a completely different scenario than being inappropriate or abusive to your teammates or other random players.

If they said something inappropriate in an actual game and it was reported, it would be treated the same as any other report which, as OP has verified themselves, does result in action being taken.

Locking the thread here as this is not something we can further address on the boards.

Naming and shaming is not allowed on the forum, in fact it is against the forum rules.

I suggest you should re-read the forum rules.

This is not protecting cheaters but rather protecting against possible false accusations on a public forum.

If you need to report cheaters outside of the game you should do this via EA help and chose the topic report player.

Once a report has ben reviewed then they will determine what actions are to be applied or not.

@Asmodeus566 Your report system is a joke. Nothing ever gets done about it. The op brings up a excellent point. There seems to be a cast of players out there that are immune from any sanction be at terms of service, anti cheat, anti-bullying, or whatever else there may be. The reason why people are resorting to quote unquote naming and shaming on this forum, has to do with the fact that no other interface you have for it does anything get done. I have seen countless times where accusations posted to this board before you remove it, is definitely not a false accusation. Until the player base starts to see meaningful improvements with respect to eliminating the cheating that goes on in this game, you're going to have these types of posts show up.

This is not the report players place here. Use the proper channels for that.

There are so many times people post here about supposed cheating that they have "proof" of that is just not really what it is.

The reason that naming and shaming is not allowed here is that what happens to a players rep that was falsely accused on a public forum.

We do not need that stuff here, I mean really how would you feel if I posted a video of you making great shots and good plays and I thought oh that person must be cheating.

No that would not be cool and so many people could actually believe that and now you have a false label.

The best thing to do as I said is use the proper ways of reporting either via in game and or via EA help.

Also the report system is not mine, I also do not work for EA.

The report system does work, however it could be better IMHO.
