Okay I'll chime in. But first kudo's to both @ragnarokfps and @xMaracmanx for having a civil convo while expressing their own views. On the internet that's rare XD.
I think people want lower TTKs because they are used to it by now. It's probably engrained due to the amount of shooters that's been in the gaming industry since it's inception. Let's take CoD as a franchise for instance since it has the highest community rating (own words, don't quote me on it). CoD is almost synonymous with fast paced action/TTK. Arguebly one of the reason why ppl play it. Look at blackout and the whole debacle of lvl 3 armour. It takes too long to kill someone and ppl don't want that in CoD. So it's been nerfed, nerfed and nerfed again.
(Srry for this I know the difference but ppl still have misconceptions about this game). Titanfall is arguebly the same in the way of fast action, but ttk is a lil higher than CoD. People still tend to think of this game as a weird 2.5 version of titanfall. With that comes a fast ttk I think and this is speculation. I played both titanfalls extensively and I can say that this game has a higher ttk than both WHEN you have armor. Without armour it's basically titanfall's ttk. Earlier this morning for example. I had the P20 pistol and was facing an enemy without a gun. I hit almost all shots from less than 4 feet but still had to almost shoot 2 clips in him for him to go down. If he had a weapon I'd be screwed. Lets say for argument's sake I missed 3 shots. I still had to hit him with more than 14 bullets for him to die and he had lvl 1 armour. That is alot of time if you're not going for headshots.
I don't however want lower TTKs. Maybe just buff the guns a bit but basically ppl think of the guns like each having their own strengths and flaws. It's true to a degree but you can't expect 2 equally good ppl who have 2 very different guns, lets say one has an LMG and one shotgun and it's close range, that the Shotgun guy is likely to win. Lets say he knows he's good, but also prideful and rages 'I HAD HIM, THIS LMG SUCKS. BUFF IT' to actually get his wish granted. Some guns just suck in certain regards and that's always been the case in the titanfall universe (I'm looking at you mozambique...).

Hi everyone, I appreciate the point of view of you but the comparison is a bit strange when related to CoD or CS because as @Koochi-Q said "if there is a confrontation between an LMG and a shotgun the LMG would win" but I do not totally believe it because it's relative. LMG in the open-field versus shotgun may win if the opponent using Wraith with shotgun did not know how to use his powers to reach the LMG opponent.
It depends a lot on the situation and strategy. I believe that any buff or nerf is not necessary and people need to learn how to situate themselves in the game. Yesterday I was able to knock down almost 2 squads using Mozambique (delicious weapon) while my friends came to rescue me from an assault.

@MrUncleLeon, wait, did I say the LMG would win? If so I meant shotgun. But the reason I brought up those two weapons and the circumstances (close range, both equally good players) is just as you stated; the situation. If you just have the weapons and players without any tacticals and it's an open area, thats why the shotgun would win, cause it's a CQC weapon and an LMG isn't. If distance was the factor instead close range, the LMG would win.
The comparison is of course different, but it was more to set the TTK mood 😜EDIT: @MrUncleLeon you were right. I put LMG guy XD. You have to forgive me, just woke up and headed straight for this forum while also apping XD. Got distracted probably. I of course meant shotgun in close range
Okay thinking a bit more on the frustration of shields in the late stages. Specifically the smg problem. Maybe buff the smgs so that they do marginally more damage to shields? Or make shields slightly more resistant to single shot bursts and slightly less resistant to rapid fire? If that can be done technically? Basically if youre in optimal range with an smg ur rewarded (but not disgustingly so, only slightly so it feels better) But you still have a buffer against being wiped out in 2-3 shots.
- Mozambique, unless you have extended mags on it, will likely not kill an enemy in one clip. It does 34 dmg (I've only seen that dmg whenever I shot it) unless you hit heads. So yea... I've had plenty of times where I emptied a mozambique... had to relead and dude kills me...

- Lolz wait wth XD. Downed, three shots and not out. Wow. Probs 150 health again in that case when you're downed. I usually go for the magnificent finishers... but usually die while doing them 😢😅
I mean neither of us had experience with the gun that much, he had that and I got punched to death while trying to get a headshot, our mistakes but the spread seems so wide. EDIT Yes Im bad pls no bulli.
lol looks like none of u believe me but its a lovely gun. People gets crazy when someone is so close to u and jumps a lot front of u hahahah. Yesterday I rushed with Wraith to an opponent and punched in the face and I laughed so hard because he/she may be is so scary shooting all over the place. I need to record this in GFE.
@Koochi-Q Its okay (: when I read I understood it to be an open field scenario
I mean its not that I dont believe you but rather that its definetly underwhelming like all the other pistols save Wingman, why take mozam when you can have EVA, why take p20 when you can have scout or r301, and yes you might not find any of them but i believe thats a low chance, and even if you dont, others will and you wont be able to hold a candle to any of them, like i said they feel like sidearms trying to be primaries, i think a third pistol only slot would help them find a use. Thats my impression though and I could be wrong.
- I agree with u. We need a third slot just for pistols but I think people like me will run in the game with 3 weapons with the same ammo and thats not include a pistol but any other weapon with a good rate fire.

- I also believe you, I've just had it a couple of times now over the years and everytime it let's me down. Hit a guy 3 times... reload... die while reloading xD. But like @xMaracmanx stated, most pistols just suck except the wingman xD. Like a real life wingman that thing's got you covered 'going in for the kill' 😜
