To put it concisely, *bad* players want very low kill times because they lack the skill to earn kills and teamplay. When you play games like Fortnite and BO4, you just aim in the general vicinity on someone you managed to out-camp and cruise your way to top 10. Camping is very easy to punish in APEX, ergo bad players feel worse about being skillless.
Watching numerous streamers, particularly Disrespect+Viss+Krafty, their average match takes a sum of 13 minutes FOR WINS. 13 minutes is far shorter per match than any other BR game on the market. Hell PUBG matches often take upwards of 35 minutes per win. I genuinely have no idea how anyone can say APEX is too slow.
Apex Legends has just 60 players in a game that's why games can be won in 13 minutes, not to mention the fact that this is a new game and players are still learning what works and what doesn't work. Fortnite and Blackout have 100 player games, Blackout matches seem to last roughly 20 minutes.
