What is going on with all the solo jumpers lately? Please kill this option. It doesn’t matter if I’m jump master or just in the squad but every third game lately 1 or both squaddies go solo. Sometimes they jump solo before I ping an LZ, sometimes after I ping they go solo without suggesting another LZ or even saying no. It’s super annoying. It’s hard (but not impossible to win as a 2-man squad) but it’s so much harder. So when a squaddie peels off to drop solo, I quit and start a new game. It’s not worth the extra difficulty taking on squads 2v3. I’ve said this before but the option to solo jump should be disabled until the squad is at jump tower height. This way you won’t be landing on each other but you still land as a team.

I drop Solo because most likely my teammates dont know they are dead yet

Annoying for sure if you go into a casual game with the expectations to have a to have the perfect team to back you up =) But if they forced people to jump with the jump master, then we would have created the problem of noob jump masters. This can be a problem even now with the choice to solo jump, i.e. jump masters who dont mark where they intend to land and suddenly jumps towards a hotspot at the wrong range, making you land when all other enemies have weapons.I wonder why this wasnt a problem in PUBG hrmm. Randoms usually jumped together even without a designated jump master.

@Professor_DoggyIf they would add a ‘’no fill’’ option like literally every other battle royale game then the problem wouldn’t happen... I would drop solo for weeklys and not have 2 other teammates who want to land at the very opposite side of the map with no action, I also don’t play the game much lately Ive mostly quit and just want my battlepass completed so just want to log on to do 2500 damage or whatever for my dailys and log off... I don’t always want to put up with 2 other players who want to land in the corner of the map with no squads and run around for 15 minutes looting the whole game, i just hit drop solo ping where im going and if they follow or not thats their problem if the dropship starts by dome and I need dome for my weekly but my teammates want to land at skyhook im dropping to get it donei actually enjoyed playing with squads earier today though every match I was getting atleast 6-8 kills but some of those like I said I dropped solo for dailys/weeklys as not every single match I play needs to be with other players... this game needs more game modes or atleast options also those play 12 game dailys are dumb i would rather just drop get a few kills and push every fight solo or with a team until Im eliminated to get those done faster I barely even want to play 3-5 full games not alone 12... I love the game but it just needs more options at the present there is only 1 mode ranked trios wether its casual or ranked which is why Im playing Fortnite over every other Battle Royale because it has the most modes and opions to choose from to suit all players playstyles and cosmetics are actually worth the money... on apex $18 for a skin and $18 for a weapon while on fortnite you usually get a weapon, backpack, pickaxe, glider, weapon cosmetic, etc for cheaper or multiple versions of a skin in different colors or sight differeces for the same price

I ranked play and battle pass challenges are going to cause this in any battle royal.in ranked play I agree but the problem can be the map. KC encourages people to go it alone. Worlds Edge is much better at making people have to work together.

@BabbediboopiNot to mention randoms who ping a location but don’t know how to fly correctly and don’t make it anywheres close to where they pinged and land in the middle of the mountains, i drop solo for 2 reasons

1. I want to be solo obviously from all of my messages to either practice my own skills and flight a few teams alone so whenever I do go back to squads I can 1 vs 3 with no problem or for my dailys/weeklys so I can get off as fast as possible

2. so my teammates can’t relinquish jumpmaster to me which happens in every single match that I don’t hit drop solo instantly, this goes for the matches I do plan on dropping with my team but I just don’t want to choose the location or so I don’t have both teammates landing on me because they don’t know how to break off and steal my gear... its necessary to break off so each teammate gets geared

@FaIIenAngeI777 Imo if everyone unlocked the same BP challenges at the same time sqauds would more likely to stick together there just randomly given to us to stop hot zones and 50 people jumping at once

@KelRiever Ranked mode is the only time I never drop solo but Im alittle dissapointed about the split because I was wrong I just assumed on march 24th some lore would happen and we would do kings canyon in casual and ranked mode and they may introduce a new char/weapon but I guess not, I don’t really want to play ranked just to be able to play kings canyon but at the same time I still like worlds edge as a map so I guess its better this way to have the option to play both maps

@DaleWWilson95 Its impossible to give everyone the same BP challenges at once because everyone plays at a different rate some may be level 50 right now and others are already maxed, i mainly drop solo for location based weekly challenges or to a hotzone like the party boat for some quick damage for my daily, I gotta say that location based ones are annoying because they arn’t usually locations that squads regularly travel to like Dome is usually one of the places but nobody ever goes to dome unless the ship starts on that side or you are lucky and the last circle is near dome so I drop solo for dome for sure as it’s nearly impossible to finish otherwise without playing abunch which I don’t feel like doing and would rather spend that time on some other game so I gotta say location based challenges are the biggest cause of me personally solo dropping, on fortnite location based challenges arnt an issue at all because you have the freedom to complete your challenges in solos or team rumble but on apex there is no other option but squads... aslong as the only option is squads and there isn’t an option for ‘’no fill’’ then there will always be solo droppers

@FaIIenAngeI777Exactlyyy if everyone had the same challenges every week everyone would know where to go making going dome easier because everyone would have to go there and if not people would be going there for kills knowing others need to do the challenges if there was a no fill option potentially end up with 20 "trio" 1 mans

For players such as yourself, can you not just wait a match or two to be jump master and then you can land where you choose? It's similar to the players who quit as soon as they get downed: just wait it out.
I hear and understand your reasons for soloing but I would still point out that when you go solo you are ruining the game for your team, even though you don't know them and even if they suck.
I have even amended my ways and I will STAY with my team if they drop in damn Train Yard. I played with two people last night who absolutely ruled that place. I got knocked fairly quickly so I sat there and watched as these two guys went up and down the zip lines and roasted 4 complete teams between them. It was insane. I actually learned a ton by watching their style of play.
So to sum up: soloing is lame. Please don't do it.
