Spitfire has the second LOWST dps in the game as far as automatic/burst rifles go.

Enough is enough. Spitfire is a CRAP gun that needs something to make it actually useful. It's barely better than the friggin' alternator. So please, stop the petty whining people. Literally, get good.
- @MrZwitz It isnt the dps that people complain about. Is is the ease of use and the seemingly unstopping firing. With a purple mag you can knock multiple people in a row without reloading. For me it is a fun anti sniper gun.
@hayhorYeah, but what those people don't comprehend is that without its higher mag capacity, it would literally end up being the worst gun in the game.
2nd lowest DPS in the game, slow strafe speed, slow ADS, hip-fire that was nerfed to the ground....it's literally a garbage weapon now EXCEPT FOR the only thing it has - more bullets. Without that, you'd be better off picking up an Alternator.
@MrZwitzBut Spitfire has or had highest damage per clip cuz of it's large purple mag size. It's an LMG. It should have a large mag. It's not a crap gun by any means. If that was true so many people wouldn't be using it. Especially entire squads.
And you can adjust it's ads speed in ALC settings. I've killed plenty with a base spitfire. It's not a bad gun.
- @MrZwitz DPS doesn't mean everything. For instance the volt and the Lstar have equal dps according to that list, but an Lstar user will almost certainly clap the volt user due to its massive bullet size, double damage headshots, and easy hipfire.
