@Popa2capsThere is always gonna be people who needs to turn to cheats. And quite frankly, if you are a controller player on PC then as far as I am concerned you are a cheater xD Nobody bought a PC so they could play games using a controller. Additionally, nobody would use a controller if there was no AA on PC. Nobody would also use a controller on PC if M&K was also given AA.
I mean, if you took a M&K noob and set him up against a controller noob, who would win? Obviously controller would win due to M&K missing every dang shot cause of failing recoil control and heavily lacking precision. AA literally controls recoil for the user so stupidly well as well as assisting handily with tracking. This is a fact. Controller players on PC are an absolute joke. And controller players defending AA on PC are a bigger joke. We all know to achieve a truly leveled playfield everyone needs to be limited to the same input. Consoles has controllers, PC has M&K, don't mix it up, problem solved and leveled playfield maintained.
@HLNorsemane
I'm going to disagree with you on everything you just stated. One being PC means personal computer, not you're going to use just one device. Second, controllers are not cheating lol. You're like the most biased person i've seen on the forums in awhile.
I bought and built my PC for creating music. Someone else could have bought one for some other creative idea or really anything. You also seems to have overlooked my topic. It's 100% on the topic of aim assist, not all controller users. I know people are out there that play with aim assist off.
Also you do know X and Y axis is mostly always used on an analog stick, right? Just aiming up and to the left is just that o.0. The more i think about it, an analog stick has more dimensions than a mouse sensor. Thumb stick click could be called Z axis.
Like i stated above, this topic is just about aim assist, i have no issues with controller users directly, because i am one... sometimes lol. I understand what aim assist does, but i can turn it off and do okay. The issue is Apex PC is mostly now controller user. It seems like everyone is a beam and the devs need to look into it.
- 6 years ago@Popa2caps Of course controllers are cheating. There is a big fat reason why you see people taking their controller out of their console to use it on the PC for playing Apex. There are plenty of youtube videos now with names such as "Is your aim with mouse and keyboard average or worse? Consider using a controller to do better"
That right there is pretty screwed up. No matter how you spin it, if you have software that ASSISTS you in such a manner that it is no longer all you and your skill doing all the work, then yes, you are cheating. I guess you find it fair game as well that when doing suppleness testing (how high you can jump) to use a trampoline for that extra ASSISTED bounce for that added altitude. It is the same freaking thing.
Also what does it matter that you bought your PC for music? We are talking about GAMING.- Anonymous6 years ago
@HLNorsemane
I'm just going to block you now to save myself sometime. I asked that you stay you on topic. c'ya.- 6 years ago@Popa2caps Yes, block me.. After all that is the most logical thing to do seeing as you are in this situation where you can't prove that my logic, the parallel that I drew is flawed. Blocking is much easier =)
- 6 years ago@HLNorsemane I don't agree that controllers on their own are cheating, but controllers on Apex, with enabled Aim Assist, are cheating.
If it was fairly balanced, I wouldn't care if people used controllers, but that would mean that controller players would be at a disadvantage due to controllers being harder to control.
