Still not sure why there are no solo's (Hoping for a respawn/EA response)

Agreed, this is getting ridiculous now, the game has lost its joy and fun over the course of other players either intentionally or unintentionally ruining the experience. Not all teammates are bad (I just need to point that out) it’s just that Respawn need to give other types of players a choice of how they want to play, either by themselves or with others. I personally have dealt many situations like yours, it’s frustrating, annoying and quite intolerable, time is key when it comes to these types of games especially br games, in which feedback is most critical. I adore Respawn, since the golden age of COD to there underrated Titanfall series, but I think it’s getting to the point where there is so much pressure on Respawn about multiple features on Apex including solo playlist that I think there will be a time and place where the hour glass will stop. I 100% believe solos should be a priority, it’s just how Respawn manage to include it in the game, sure there are changes need to be made to legends and more but the fact is the playerbase will start to decline if Respawn don’t start to notice just critical this feature is. I hope anyone including Respawn will understand my point of view🙂

1. SOLO IS AWESOME AND SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED 

YES YES YES YES.. a thousand times yes we do need solo not because Theres no teamplay but because its fun.. i love solo in Fortnite and i would love it in APEX, lets get solo games implemented!!

2. Bad teamplay

this is true, Theres a lot of * players/people out there that will do anything for that loot or a like, they will also leave for like no reason at all, i do however experience a more friendly approach and if you play with a mic 6/10 you will get a good experience with the random squad.

1.Please, don't give me that "this is a team based game"

I completely disagree here and im pretty much lost for words..the entire game is build around teamplay and i see no reason for this to be an argument for having solo games what so ever.

respawn beacons, revive, abilities, ping system, legend roles and in my opinion the way the map is build it gives you so many tactical options with 3 players.

2.Keep the server at 60 players

i dont think this is a good number and it must be decreased, my guess would be 45

if you look at the map i see about 16 places to drop with mediocre to good loot chances. thats 3,75 players lets say 4 at each location.. left to fend for them selves, i dont think this is a good solution, some dislikes the fast paced start and would like a more suttle approach.

i like to do bunker which is almost always fast paced and action from the first second and this was something i disliked very much the first few weeks because i kept dying,, and if we dont make some room for new more newbie players to drop a little further away and loot up a little slower, they will grow bored and drop the game apex that we love so much.

3. people that pay for, and support this game

This game is free and although you can choose to pay for some content such as BP you are not forced in any way so no i do not agree with you that players who tell other players there point of view here should be banished, i dont agree with them, but ban is to harsh.. free country and all.

i do know what you mean, but perhaps a less extreme statement would get you further.

MY TAKE FOR A SOLUTION

Perhaps something like a ranking system for the match finder?

have you ever played games like LoL, HoN, Dota2 or CS:GO?

they have an MMR.

so lets say everyone gets 1000 MMR points from the start and the match making will pair people from 900-1099 together and 700-899 and so on, in the same matches.

15 points for winning a match

10 for second place

5 points for a revive

5 points for a respawn

1 points for a kill

-5 points for for placing below top 10

-2 points for loosing a teammate (all dead)

this way we reward teamplay and not solo seperating players who dont play nice from players who do, it will also seperate more skilled players from the lesser skilled.. they will however be able to work themselves up through the ranks and at the sametime give people a sense of progress which will keep the game fun and interesting.

Maybe im right maybe im wrong i just dont believe we should have solo for some of the reasons that you state here.

all and all we agree solo should see the light of day, but who knows

I agree that solos should be in the game. I've heard people say that duos or 4-man squads should be in the game too, but I'm not on board with that. I think the teamwork in this game is outstanding, and teamwork is absolutely necessary to succeed. I think the game works really well with 3 to a team, and having 2 or 4 would feel out of place. However, there could be a lot to be gained from having a solo mode. I personally don't have many people to play with, so I'm always with randoms, and I can't help but be a team player. I often lose games simply because I'm playing for the team, rather than just trying to get kills by myself. I win some games, but I think I could do much better as a solo player. It would certainly be more fun if I didn't have to rely on useless noob teammates.

It's not a team based game. A team based game is on where you work as a team. You don't disconnect, you don't run off on your own, you don't leave your teammates to die. A "TEAM BASED GAME" is one where you have a mutual objective and work TOGETHER to accomplish that. And the fact that we run into all this horrible players is a great argument for Solo's

This point could be argued either way, so we can agree to disagree on this. I won't say you are wrong, but I can't say you are right either. I personally believe 60 is a good number.

My point here was that telling someone that actually pay for the game to "Go somewhere else" only hurts the product.

Well, if you are one of the people that agree SOLO mode is much needed.. Post here.. I'm not looking to have my ego stroked with my post, but having a post gain notoriety due to constant posting would only gain the attention of the DEV's.. So lets set this post on fire and show them that there is a HUGE part of this community that wants/needs Solo mode in game. If you see a post about SOLO's, tell the OP to post here. Tell your stories about horrible teammates here. Have a suggestion to make SOLO mode better, post it here. ANYTHING that is SOLO related, post it here..

The DEV's can't ignore a thread that has over a 1,000 responses to it... So lets make that our goal. 

I would die of boredom with 45 players. With 60 players you can easily drop in a place without a team get ok loot and move on to a place with a team. Not even play fast paced. I get bored with 60 players sometimes. If you drop in hot placed it will be fast paced. That's how BR games work.

They do care about the feedback in the forums and spamming accounts or people is not helpful, really. Trust me that they are aware of this request. We see it daily. 😉

As far as a solo mode, we do not have any info regarding plans for adding that at the moment.

Haha I was being hyperbolic and messing around I only send them 1 message on it per day but since you said they are aware its in demand thats enough for me to wait without being obnoxious all it takes is a q&a and being direct about whats going on all I seen them say on it is "what kind of donuts do i get" a month ago, wasn't reassuring
