Stop nerfing Octane
It is not necessary but dev is insist to nerf Octane. Increasing the cooldown of the launch pad from 60 to 90 and losing 20 HP when used tactically is too much.

Octane's going to be just fine. I play Octane, I'm not complaining, and neither are the Octane mains I watch. I mean, the health regen nerf is only bringing it to the value it was supposed to be changed to the last time, but wasn't.
I'm kind of looking forward to it, hopefully fewer of my worst randoms won't pick him.
@pandareno1999I agree Octane should be fine, I used to main him before the hp regen and jump pad buff and he was amazing imo so 10-15% isn’t going to nerf him into the ground and it was supposed to be 1 hp per tick anyways
if I had to change one thing though it would be buffing his stim usage slightly to about 15 per stim because 20 hp per stim sounds like a lot when its 1 hp per tick instead of 1.5 per tick
@TheApexLegendNub You could be right, and I'd have preferred 15 as well. We'll see. I like the idea of making players think carefully about using stim. And they seem generally pretty good about reverting balance changes that are overly done, except for leaving Horizon version B for so long.
Octane has been the most dominant rotational player for several seasons straight. It makes sense that they nerf him and adjust others (wraith/path) to try to get them all on a similar scale
Bro I play Octaine, it's not bad it puts him in rank with the other champs. So they took away horizontal distance that is the same for anyone using octaine pad, but they actually reduced the amount of health he regains by .5 which in my opinion is great cause that passive is so broken I literally never carry meds as Octaine. why do you think people always play him everyone races to pick octaine in pubs because he is broken. if youre upset then quit or play another champ if you are a octaine one trick then thats even more sad.
@SLAB_LJ No his passive regen is not broken. It's handy and feels nice to have but nobody has ever fought an Octane and blamed their loss on his slow regeneration.
All of Octane's abilities are useful and feel good to have while none of them are game breaking. The only issues seem to be these 3 (correct me if I'm wrong anyone.)
#1. Unreliable sound in this game allow the enemy to stealth Jump pad onto you. An issue with the sound more than the Jump pad.
#2. Combination with Revenant Ult. They must've buffed Rev's Ult when I wasn't looking because those shadows have a ridiculous amount of health or my connection is just that bad.
#3. Octane can run away from a fight making it easier to survive and rank up. The game should probably reward kills a bit more or only give you survival points if your WHOLE team is alive.
He isn't OP he's just unique and fun.
@FPShogunIf the servers worked properly I wouldn't have an issue with how Octane worked before, but because the servers aren't working nominally he needed a nerf. Bullets should do damage when they hit.
