Lately I've been watching YouTube after YouTube about how hyper-competitive games have become, and about how competition, the thing that attracts a lot of players to games, is ironically also the thing that ultimately drives a lot of people away. Everything you've come up with here actually does sound like the perfect antidote to the sweat this game is soaked in. I for one vote YES, PLEASE. Good work.

Back in the glory days of Halo 4 forge mode I created a game type that was based on "king of the hill" except all players were invincible (so no one could kill anyone else) and the only weapon was the hammer. Gravity was lowered so if you hit someone with it they went flying across the map, and obviously also out of the hill. You could win or lose based on your time in the hill, but no one ever died so it just felt like there was zero pressure. It was dumb, harmless, and immense amounts of fun.
