@chiefthunderball Chief your viewpoint on shotguns isn't wrong but aren't things better this way? The Mastiff is a high damage precision shotgun while the Eva-8 allows for more spamming and mobility in a fight.
A good example of two similar yet unique guns where you have a valid reason to choose either one over the other.
@Zamaha400 I disagree. If I'm 5 feet from someone I shouldn't be rewarded with 24 damage because the horizontal spread didn't all connect. The PK had a true shotgun spread that allowed for high reward if landed properly. All they needed to do was reduce headshot damage multiplyer and it would be solid. The MASTIFF is only good point blank and that's if you land it in their face. The PK was good up to about 10 feet and then it started to suffer spread damage. That's a shotgun. And to those complaining about damage fall off, no weapon had damage fall off in this game so why is that an issue no? The Mastiff is way more inconsistent than the PK ever was. If the consistency is fixed on the Mastiff I'd love to have it stay but right now it's not a reliable gun to use unless you are face to face.
@chiefthunderball The Mastiff seems pretty consistent to me. Dominant at point blank range and a joke if your enemy stays a few steps back.
Also people frequently complained about the peacekeeper landing high damage mid range shots so many wouldn't be happy with just a headshot damage nerf.
