This event sucks, Big, EA has made players using the Swords invincible.I won't be playing Apex until this event is over

@ssRAZORss Players using the Buster Sword aren't invincible if you keep your distance and outplay them. They also still take damage when they're blocking with the sword, so if your whole squad is shooting at one, they'll die fairly quick.

Exactly...I watched 1 guy take out 3 squads

@ssRAZORss I just saw a Conduit go crazy. They were my random teammate and they solo'ed 7 squads on their own.I can now see why you don't want to play this mode. It was insane, and they did all that without using the limit break.

I agree totally. This new sword update is really dumb. In most cases I die because of it. Now everyone can play the game, even someone without any skills.

@Midnight9746 No they don´t. They can take allot of dmg and if you dont have any mobility, its close to impossible to keep distance. I quit this game till this mode is gone...absolute ****show

The sword is good, I can agree on that much, but it doesn't make any player unkillable. Whenever I block more than one player with the sword, my health goes down as if I wasn't blocking and if you're shooting at the player blocking, at some point they will die. They can dash while blocking, but if you get them low enough, when they go to swing the sword, you can shoot at them before they hit you.

I've stopped playing completely over the past 6 months or so, theyve destroyed the game in most aspects.

@DaleFox2012 Part of the problem with the sword, based on how the Conduit random was using it, is that I think players are animation canceling. The Conduit was knocking blue and purple armor enemies far too quickly, and I saw them launch one player into the air and did the same light attack motion over and over again. They had slashed the launched player so quickly, that it looked like they had activated the limit break, but they were not glowing.
Also animation canceling, (for those who don't know), is when you stop an animation early to allow for another action sooner. The Conduit appeared to be doing the sword slash much like how players were able to bypass the punching animation. If anyone played back in S12 or so, there was an issue where someone could quite literally become a Kung Fu master, and if you were in the air, they were able to punch you higher and higher into the sky.

@ssRAZORss Maybe EA and Respawn think the sword is much stronger and cooler than the gun, like Anime. LOL

So even though Apex Legends is a hero shooter, the condition of the game is ruined by the one-sided slaying of the shooters with the sword, EA and Respawn don't seem to mind at all, even if users feel displeased and absurd. It's ridiculous.

After a few days of using the sword, it is very strong. The game is also very bugged because today I'm not able to deal most of damage with the sword. I would hit people, and it does zero damage to them about 90% of the time, but then if I shoot at them, they take damage. If I'm hit with the sword, I get hurt.

Either its broken, which wouldn't surprise me, or players are using cheats to go "nuh uh I wasn't hit", which also wouldn't surprise me.
